So was Almiron but these were loaned out, they didn't play the complete season and torture us each time we saw them.
Molinaro and Nocerino were not brought in to be first team players. They were back ups. Molinaro was to be back up LB for Chiellini, while Nocerino was to be 4th choice midfielder. I don't now about you but I don't expect world class performances from back up players. The only reason those 2 played so much is because we had little other choice.

Criscito (and Almiron, and Tiago) were brought in to be starters, and they failed so bad. It doesn't matter if they only played a few games. These were the ones that were expected to shine and failed badly.

I don't really think it matters what the players were brought in for. It's like Juventus calling me up because the entire squad is injured, I play two games, score three own goals, and have people here say I wasn't the worst player on the pitch because I was never expected to be there in the first place.

It's a load of crap, Lion. Molinaro has been by far the worst player this season. This isn't a competition of disappointment or something.

I am not saying Molinaro or Nocerino weren't bad. They were terrible, but both of them showed a bit of good potential here and there, albeit rarely. Criscito was downright awful. Showed absolutely nothing at all. That's why he gets my vote

Purely speaking about the players in this poll, Molinaro was by far the worst.

The most frustrating part about Molianro is that in every match, he would for once or twice do something good which makes you get your hope up high only to follow immediately afterwards with something stupid like giving the ball away or a cross that reaches the moon.

Nocerino has been much more disgusting than Molinaro. Molinaro may be a shitty ass LB, but he does something good like maybe every 500 minutes. Nocerino is just plain ass. He has done nothing for us, and he is not a footballer. If Tobago had a National Team all by itself, he wouldn't even deserve to play for them.

I disagree with you all. Molinaro was not half as bad as you make him out to be and I hope he continues as our back up LB next season. If he was so horrible then why did we not desperately look for an alternative at LB during the winter break but did so for a CM??

Yes we got Stendardo on loan, but apart from the odd game and a coppa italia match when did he ever start?

Molinaro's capacity made it worth-while to put Chiellini in the middle, if Molinaro was totally shit, Ranieri would have kept Criscito or even played Grygera in the middle instead of Chiellini.

Up until the second match against Roma, I'd say Molinaro was having a pretty decent season.

Talk about expectations...Nocerino...the next Rino Gattuso...was the talk of the town early on in the season..hell if we gave Almiron and Tiago as many opportunities as Nocerino they might have prevailed.

But i think Italians like to give the fellow country-men a better chance to prove themself then second class citizen immigrants from portugal and argentina...talk about constructive fascism

A tie between Molinaro and Tiago

We paid too much for Tiago, he was expected to lead the center-field, he sucked and when he got benched he didnt stop crying and complaining, plus he was given too many chances and he blew them, his best performance was "OK", and that's because he plays beside Sissoko who does both his and Tiago's job

While:
-Nocerino and Crisito sucked too, but they are young and unexperienced, and we didnt pay much for them
-Almiron also sucked but didnt have enough chance, he was benched early, at least he didnt cry and threatened to leave the club if he didnt play like what Tiago did
-Palladino: Well try playing DP as a left winger then judge him, I know Palla cant be compared to DP, but dont be so harsh on him, he was always used out of position , plus he had some fine games like Inter's game in Milan

Molinaro for me only because he got more chances than nocerino, tiago, almiron and others.

Molinaro didnt have competition as Chiellini was starting at CB each week...seriously had the chance to prove his worth and blew it.

Nocerino. I think he actually got worse as time dragged on. Had Sissoko not come in he would have played even more and cost us even more. I think Molinaro stunk too but Nocerino was the worst for me.

Tiago all the way, but almiron could have been that had he not left
Please provide an argument for that.

No idea how someone who only played a handful of matches for us could be the worst player we had this season while looking at the other clowns.

Tiago actually had five assists this season, more than Nocerino and Molinaro who played virtually every game. So please, enlighten us.
