you have insinuated that DP's longevity is credited to something extra that ronaldo doesnt have, and thats wrong imo you cant compare the 2, even in matters if longevity and i argued that many things go into that equation, a few examples to cite DP played his whole career near his family in his country with the same team his whole career ronaldo didnt have that luxury and arguably roughed up a lot more, so you bringing up ronaldo is suspect at best. Ronaldo might be as slow as alex now, but he was and will always be the better footballer, no sense trying to suggest alex might one-up him in any department(save freekicks).

Ronaldo's longevity was cut short because he couldn't stay fit, he could have adapted too, even if it is easier for Del Piero to slow his game down. Ronaldo's game was explosive.

Does anyone else remember Cassani's one Juve game, in Kiev against Dynamo when we played the reserves and still won 2-1?

Edit: This was the Juve team:

Chimenti

Birindelli - Fresi - Iuliano - Pessotto

Zambrotta - Conte - Baiocco - Olivera

Zalayeta - Salas

Bench:
Buffon
Cassani
Davids
Paro
Di Vaio
Sorrentino

Damn, that team would still beat our current one :D
