I actually do. :D I don't think he's as bad as people make out of him, most of the people I know are like 'Marcello is shit and he can't defend'
He is a poor defender, and has always been better when played further up the left flank.

Don't know anything about Baines/Beck.

Can they defend?
Baines can defend and he can attack, the matches I saw from Everton so far this season (+/-10 matches) he has always been among their best 5 players.
He isn't of the quality of f.e. Evra or Abidal, but he definately is an upgrade on what we have now.
I watch a lot of Everton because of Tim Howard and formerly Landycakes, and from what I've seen Baines is pretty good. He isn't in the same league as Evra of course, who is the best LB in the league. But Baines would be an upgrade on our left-backs without question. Shouldn't even be up for discussion, unless one has a problem with his nationality.

Yes, Italian press are saying Pirlo and Mascherano, Bastos, Spalletti, 4-2-3-1.
Hopefully Italian press are wrong, like they usually are.

Cristian Zapata/Mattia Cassani
Zapata is a CB, Cassani is a wing-back. So whatever that is, it's BS.

Neymar
Sanchez Quag Krasic
Mascherano Melo
DC Chiellini Bonucci VDV
Buffon

Neymar 30M
Sanchez 20M + Giovinco
Quag 10M
Mascherano 16M
VDV 12M

Overall 88M

Amauri 5M
Iaquinta 5M
Tiago 5M
Martinez 5M

Overall 20M
Dude, you're basically using 3 support forwards and a winger. This is like a whacked out version of the Brazilian 4-2-4. It's not going to happen, and probably shouldn't.

So, we bring in Capello, he brings in some of his favorite old farts of the past, and we might win the Coppa in a couple seasons. Then it's Ciao fratello.

Calling Van Gaal.

(With all the Pirlo links) I love the way Marotta is trying to recollect the 2006 Italy squad @ Juve. Now watch him signing Puyol, Xavi, Alonso and Villa and the 2010 World cup winning Spanish team in 2015-2016.

Marotta sure loves the world cups.
