I would take Aquilani in a second if it wasn't for the injuries but considering how fragile he is than playing with those big scary englishmen has probably already crippled him for life.

Maybe if he is cheap it would be worthwhile to look into.

I'm not sure about the Criscito+Caceres combination. Criscito has improved in attacking, but he is still more of a good passer than dribbler or crosser and overall is a balanced LB. If we are going to get him back, then we need a more attacking RB. Or we start Caceres and buy an attacking LB. I can't think of any known realistic option for attacking LB at this moment though. I don't rate Kolarov that high. He's got the physical and technical talent, but for some reason, is not very effective, seems to be lacking of consistency or something tactic. And Vargas is not a LB.
That's why i regret we miss Cissokho last season. He is one of the LB available who balanced in both attacking and defensive aspect. But after he sign with Lyon, actually the best option now is Kolarov.

But i see we will end up with Criscito as LB and Sagna as RB, while we get Caceres on loan again (as backup RB, CB, or even LB), also De Ceglie as backup LB too

Whether he goes to Juve or not do you think Sagna will leave this summer, Fred?

I know he has been linked with others including Inter so I hope our board pursues him aggressively.
