Os, it is not a one-off season, the guy has been consistently scoring goals for the past 2-3 seasons, and is showing his quality at the WC too.
I dont mean its an off season for him, but what I meant is mediocre players can have unusually good season in a real good league, but then go back to their level season after or so. But in the dutch league, the standard is quite low (lower then before), that mediocre players score for fun season after season.

Suarez is real good, though I prefer Dzeko and think Ajax is asking for like the double of what he is worth, I'm just saying dont read that much into his scoring record in the dutch league (no its not the same league where Ronaldo and Romario played). The Bundesliga is DEFENITELY better and stronger league in several ways. If Dzeko played in Holland, he would have insane ratio, instead of his really good and consistent one he has for Wolfsburg.

i think either one of dzeko or suarez would be great.... but i think dzeko plus diego could be just perfect....if we sign suarez we still need a pure goalscorer....and should sell diego cause i don't see both fitting in one system....but the inflation of suarez price is now really high...and it will get higher if they reach the semi finals

Having both Suarez and Dzeko means we are definitely losing Diego.
I dunt think we can afford to keep Diego on the bench.

I rather see Dzeko playing with Diego supporting right behind him.

Maybe not better as number of quality players are higher in Holland but Turkish league is more competetive. Players like Kezman, Anelka and Ailton flopped badly here.

As for Dzeko or Suarez

Dzeko.
I think the Turkish league is a bit stronger as well, although I always enjoy watching the Eredivisie I find myself biting my fist at some of the defending from the smaller sides. You can't really say how players can adapt to moving to a different league, but personally speaking I wouldn't want Suarez at Juve ahead of several other players.

It's nice to see the official site confirm that the players will have a medical before signing the contract. In the past they confirmed everything when all was done. You know why? That's because they fired(to be confirmed) their director of communications Giuseppe Gattino replaced by Claudio Albanese(good friend of Giraudo).

Dzeko is great and would be great everywhere
Suarez is a good player but still unproven against big teams I have seen Suarez make fun of teams with no defence but when he played against an opponent who has good defense he wasn`t that spectacular
If Uruguay beats Ghana they will be likely to meet Brazil
If Suarez could make fun of Brazil then I`d be more impressed than how he make fun of South Korea or Dutch club teams

I might be wrong and he`ll play great against big teams but up till now he hasn`t got too many chances to show it

as for Dzeko vs Suarez its definitely Dzeko for me
But the dream is still Aguero
