Bonucci and Ranocchia for Criscito and cash

Palombo-Pazzini if Samp don't get to the CL

we could be meeting with Dzeko's agent within a week

Del Neri wanted Pepe,

Krasic is wanted by Man U, Martinez could be the alternative

Vargas no real interest from us, his price scared us off

Risky. Buying him would be a big risk now.

On the other hand, we might lose a good defender. IMO I think Bonucci can be better.
I think Ranocchia can be better than Bonucci without injury. He was the one everyone was getting excited about before the injury, but now he has a chance of suffering. I feel sorry for him, he's too young to risk the chance of becoming a version of 'old Nesta'.

Signing both for Criscito + cash would be awesome though. Imagine how good we'll be in CB for years.

Why?

That move would perfectly sum up the lack of ambition shown by this club.
I, for one, do not consider selling either Chiellini or Buffon showing 'lack of ambitions'
Some of the 'respected' members posted our budget to be in the 70 mils Euro range. And considering half the rumours (bonucci, criscito, zapata), and the reality (Canna becomes a sheikh, the rest of our defenders being best described by the phrase 'they can't be paid as low as they deserve') - we can safely say we will deploy a brand new defence next season. And while Chiellini do have quite a lot of seasons ahead of him so we can justify him spending yet another 2-3 of his best years tuning our defence, Buffon doesn't.

But is it not better if we sell Chiellini for 30 (example) and get Bonucci, Kjaer and Zapata here for the same money?
I am all for getting fewer and better players, but is there a point of having an Aguero when you have Amauri next to him missing every sitter? Or Chiellini at his best, when you can't afford better than Molinaro/Grosso1896 besides?

Selling Chiellini and coming back with Drenthe is awful no matter how you look at it.

And Chiellini is at the very least 5 times better than any defender which has been linked to us anyway, or any defender you're mentioning there. You can talk about going out and bringing in a team, like we did with Zidane years back, but when we sold Zizou it was for record money. 30m for the worlds best CB? Hell no.

Don't you think that if we have 70m we can afford to keep Chiello and build around him because he's just so damn good?
