Reports: Liverpool sack Benitez? Wednesday 2 June, 2010

There are reports Liverpool are in talks to terminate their contract with Rafa Benitez, opening the door to the Inter job.

The English media, including Sky Sport and the Daily Mirror, claim discussions are under way late this evening.

Some even suggest Benitez has already been sacked, though with his recently-penned long-term contract that would mean a hefty severance package.

It is alleged he has been offered £3m to walk away now, which would also free him up to take over the Inter bench.

The Nerazzurri are looking for a new Coach after Jose Mourinho moved to Real Madrid.

The number one candidate, Fabio Capello, is now out of contention after he removed the buy-out clause from his England contract today.

So we could of got him for free instead of paying the 16m buyout clause after all.

When making these formations, it always amazes me how few people ( know how to ) use centering. They come up with the weirdest things, spaces and these dashes, which only makes it harder to read and look rather shitty.

There are reports that Fiorentina have agreed a £7.5m deal to sign Gaetano D’Agostino from Udinese.

Sky Italia television, Radioblu and Datasport all claim this evening that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.

Midfielder D’Agostino had been hot property on the transfer market last summer after extensive negotiations with Juventus and Real Madrid.

Udinese had refused those moves because they did not meet the expected price-tag, but that has reduced considerably a year later.

That is because D’Agostino has barely featured this season due to a series of injuries.

He has five senior Italy caps and the Roma youth product joined Udinese in 2006.
