Let's not be Inter fans and cry about buying this and that player as soon as we lose a game. The majority of this forum was convinced we had the best mercato in Europe this summer (bar Real Merda) with Melo, Diego and Grosso. And I'll admit I was one of the people saying so. The players are there, it's something else that's lacking.
Yeah sure, he should be in that list.

Him I wasn't extatic about but I said I'd gladly take him over any of our fullbacks. As for most of the rest of the forum, yes, he was praised as a class signing when he came.

I never really rated him that high. He's good but considering how many players we have on that position I'd rather have someone better if we're ever going to buy some.
this is how i presented it

ok lotsa reports suggesting gago wants a loan deal, imo hed be perfect for the 4-3-1-2 though his position is no priority whaddya think of gago at juve?
and the only player that is kinda like him is tiago like someone had mentioned earlier

True, sadly.

I'm glad I wasn't in that group.

No please, not Grosso.

Sorry, didn't see that. That's something else though, I'd go for it but only if we get rid of Tiago.

I'm not a big fan of 4-3-1-2 though, not with our players.

so he already plays/played here?

anyways i am sure you have never seen him play a game outside the juve ones so no need to discuss this.
My grammar isn't incorrect :frown:

True enough I've only seen him a handful of times ( I think against Marsielle, Nancy and highlights of some game against a team with green/white). But i've seen Amauri play around 50 times and from what I saw, although limited, he's better than Amauri.

You can disagree on that if you want to, but please don't try to make out that Amauri is a worthwhile player for us.

So? I know he was nominated for the award in 2008, but that doesn't prove anything.

He didn't deserve to be there, and that award is a joke anyway. Just because a bunch of NT managers that probably did not follow Kaka in the Serie A that year nominated him, does not make him one of the top 5 players.

Clearly better than Amauri
Definitely not, i watch Chamakh week in week out for Bordeaux, he is nowhere near as good as you make him out to be. Amauri is the stronger player, better finisher, much better header of the ball(even though this is one of Chamakh's strong points), better technically and overall a better striker.

You are clearly still suferring from cluelessitis ;)

Saying this despite being dissapointed in Amauri. But what you just said is too ridicolous. I have watched Chamakh since he was the hotshot teen that was supposed to save Morroccan footie, hehe, and duuuuuuuude are you overrating him to say the least.

I am afraid the club management is caring abut Ciros own reputation and therefore we can forget about early sacking, even if Hiddink is available.

You heard something new? (lets save the usual hyperbole Andy ;)), it would be most prudent time to sign him, Villareal suffering, without any CL, Rossi in bad form, basically they cant demand high fee at all.

like i said i have seen that of him and you havent

thats not what we re discussing
Gago? As long as we can get him on the cheap, I suppose I'd be for it. I only saw a little portion of him at Boca and do know he did wonders there, but his play with Real scares me a bit. Perhaps with the help of Sissoko next to him he'll be able to focus a little more on the ball instead of defending.

It's not like he doesn't have the talent.

His agent spoke of his possible departure in January, he said it's not likely to happen. He also said that there was interest from Rubin but it probably won't happen because he'd like to go to WC and going to Russia wouldn't really be smart. He said they would consider offers from Italy.

I've seen what Amauri is man and although I may be exaggerating with Chamakh, there's no way in hell I'm selling Amauri short.

Hey I totally understand criticizing Amauri, but believe me, I seen enough of Chamakh to know him enough, and you say you seen handful, and must say there is defenitely no comparison. Players can improve, after time, as Amauri has in his career, but Chamakhs stats of 45 league goals in 7 seasons is very telling for him. Last season was his only "decent" so to speak, for him. The rest? He would be glad if even Sunderland showed interest.
