Van Der Vaart is a great player but he plays best in Diego's role, if Juventus keep the 4-2-3-1 he would have to play on the wing, which he could but it is not his preferred position. If VDV could make make the position his own than I am all for his transfer since he will come at a discount price. Since we will need a midfielder who can play in place of Camo when necessary I like the idea of Krasic or even Nani. I hate Nani's general attitude but he is talented, how much is Krasic valued at?

Agreed about Van der Vaart.

Krasic would probably cost around 12-15 and IMO he would be totally worth it.

I wasn't trying to be that harsh but spending the 18mil that United want is quite risky IMO to bring another Portuguese winger with an attitude to SerieA. And I always felt that Quaresma was a lot better than Nani before he joined Inter

I think you're doing Van der Vaart short by calling him a poor man's Sneijder. I've always thought he's a bit of a different kind of player, but an excellent one anyway. We would be able to get him on the cheap most likely, for a player of his calibre.

Like Kyle said.. if he's ok with playin on a wing, it would be a great signing.
