I don't really know about your demands throughout the year, Andy .. I've been to the US alright but I was young back then and didn't really care ..
For all I know that us as an oil exporting country, the leading country that is, our exportation in summer is far more than our exportation in winter .. and that is due to transportation problems. and according to any basic economics any one could have, if supply is less, prices should rise provided that the demand is still high. Even if winter demand is lower than summer, it is still high .. and remember that you are not the only country we're exporting to .. there are parts of Europe where they need much more heating than you Americans do ..
And it's obvious to anyone that in last winter oil prices started hitting record highs .. WHY ?? because basically the demand increased while the supply in winter is lower than summer supply .. and please don't insult my intelligence

here you go .. Though petroleum power decreased by half in year 2006 and it's much less than natural gas .. but this decrease was obviously because the price increase .. all in all the price increase has affected the US power production policy ..

Its not the first time isreal or US said that they will attack iran,
its been years that they keep sayin that.nothing is new,
there were times that were rumors saying USA will attack in 24 hours.
anyway,despite i hate our goverment too,
but i know they are not after nuclear weapons,and,
what was the last time iran attacked a country ???
20 years ago,iraq attacked us,and there was a 8 years war.which all the western countries and arabs were supporting iraq.with money and weapons.
people of iran,dont want another war.and i can swear,if goverment try to make a war with another country,people will kill them all,cuz allready we hate them.

well,if Hafez and Molavi,or Ferdoosi,the great poets of ancient persia where persians,we are speaking the same language they were speaking.
we have the same traditions,and same Culture.
its just about 500-600 years that Iran Official Relegion became Islam.
Iran as Country with some leader exist about 2000 years.
that means,not al of muslims are arabs.( i can not speak a single word of arabic)

it was a stupid guy named ahmadinejad who said that !
He is not normal ! i dont know whats wrong with him.he is crazy.

I haven't been around here much the past few days but most of the members here should know that no good comes from threads like these. I understand that it’s the off-season and we have nothing to argue about so we go back to ol' reliable (politics/religion). But based on the quotes I gathered below we can get a good idea of the quality of posts lately. I don't think its worth a dime to open topics like these cuz no one wins.
Why should i know arabic ?
i know the meaning of things we say in salat(namaz),as the told us from early years in school,
but i dont know arabic !
all the Qurans here have Translates under the arabic sentences,and also other religious books.
If i read Quran,i Know what im reading,cuz they wrote the translation,
and also there is book of explanation of quran named "tafsir al mizan" which its 50 volumes in persian.
