Israel will no doubt bomb Iran's sites, because while NObama continues to play nice with the world, and Russia and China continue to stick up for their partner in crime when it comes to sanctions (which never work,anyways), Iran gets closer everyday to developing a nuclear bomb

It has just as much to do with Iran wanting to price their oil in another currency, dumping US dollars, and shipping crude to markets out East. and if the Saudi's are as concerned about Iran with nukes as I think they are, they will no doubt have to "adjust" their prices as payment

and dont worry, NObama wont be pulling the trigger on this move (he wouldnt, even if Iran was days away from developing a nuclear warhead), it will be Israel....and they will be doing most of the world a big favor

I get how blindly trusting every decision your government makes is foolish and naive but isn't believing that everything they do is motivated solely by greed and a hidden agenda just as naive? For somebody so suspicious of whatever our government says you remarkably have no problem believing these far fetched conspiracy theories. Our politicians are not perfect in fact far from it but that's because they are human, becoming an American politician does not change you into a sole less manic who would gladly murder thousands for oil. I don't believe half of what the government says, but they aren't evil, there just idiots

It's not conspiracy theory. Paul Wolfowitz and Alan Greenspan both came out to say that the Iraq War was all about oil.

Many government officials in Congress are indeed idiots, but to think that there isn't something more behind our foreign excursions is simply naive.

Well, mainstream sources report that Iran is dumping dollars and wanted to price crude in other currencies. That shouldn't be much of a surprise looking at a ten year chart of the dollar index. Of course, I can't prove that these facts are the reason why we will allow Iran to get punished, but it makes sense to me, looking at the progression of facts.

Let me put it this way. The military and government is supposed to protect our interests as a nation. Two of those interests include our crude flow to the country and keeping the US Dollar as the world's reserve currency.

You may have a point in GENERAL, villifying politicians to more then they are, when at times they are just incompetent. But calling out things for what they are is another thing to. Its not naive to say and notice the glaring policy of how many decades now? Thats simply based on resource grabbing/controlling, and the most vital resource is oil (though theres lots of others. Doing it under pretexts and with Propoganda doesnt hide it, as Andy said Wolfowitz and Greenspan both basically said what was being called conspiracy theory some years ago, that Iraq was due to Oil.

And same thing with lots of the foreign policy actions of the US in the cold war, was done with the propoganda of fighting evil commies, and saying otherwise made you be accused to being a conspiracy theorist, but everything from the 50s Iran, to Reagan stuff in Latin america in the 80s (til now), have more or less been about grabbing/controlling the resources. Nothing naive about pointing this out, every "world power" or Empire since civilization have been doing it, the US just do it in bit more sugarcoating BS. I mean, seriously, freeing Iraqis?

Strange excuse. I mean, first of all, we gave Saddam WMD's in the past. But when we tried to find them, they weren't there!

We have the best network of intelligence in the world. Therefore, I believe the WMD excuse was simply a ploy to get us in the region. It was an easy card to play, and one they've played before.
