Just because the media is making all this hype doesn't mean they're wrong. I have yet to see a forward in this period of time that's as efficient and accurate as he is.
You are just swallowing everything the media feeds you and then just shíttin it out..
Like good little sheep :frown:

One needs to question things when people stop to questions authority

I mean we have had some many painful lessons of when people just follow the hype, 2 World Wars for starters.....

But lets adress the facts
"I have yet to see a forward as efficient as RVN"
I Believe Trezegol and Crespo would have been had they not been injured...

Everyone knows the English leagues make Forwards look better then they really are since it favours direct play and therefor gives them more oppertuinities incontrast to other leagues like Seria A or Primera...

Either you don't watch a lot of football or most probably you do it with media's eye patches...

But let me answer your claim

Kezman even more efficient then RVN, add to that the Dutch League only has 34games in opposition to the EPL 38, and if you count Minutes played and goals Kezman beats him,
but right here we can argue that The Erevedise is less competative and bla bla bla....

So I will throw another one at you I league that was still considered the best in the world 6months ago by all apart from English and Italian Tabloids is Primera Division...

A player playing in this League Called Roy Mackay scored more Goals then RVN outnumbering him by 2 I think, ALso Roy Makay is a more complete Goalscorer he can score with both feat and not only in the box but outside the box aswell in opposition to RVN..

Makay also played in the Champions League scoring against namely us! so you should Remember him.
He plays for a much smaller club then Man U and still manages these feats,
Also He won the Golden Boot Award
which is makes a pretty fair comparison between all goalscorers

This Would make Him better then RVN,
Since the Golden Boot is not decided by voting but by certain points for goals, you can not lobby or bribe your way into that certain hyped names get surpassed by less known names,

Mackay is a better player and a better Goalscorer then RVN this is the truth pure and simple

And I am sure healthy Trezeguet playing for one of the top sides in England would beat both RVN and Mackay to the gOlden Boot...

everyone is saying thuram, but i honestly dont know, he is worth the award. like i want him to get it badly, but is he worth it?
All Right
Thuram worth it

Thuram is the best Defender of our time

Juventus hasn't had a better defender since Jurgen Kohler was in his prime, but Thuram is even better then that,

The only defender worthy of comparison with Thuram is Franz Beckenbauer...

Only reason he hasn't been chosen best player in the world is because of his position, politics and color.

First of all, insulting implies that you've lost the argument and that's the only way that u can keep yourself in it. And since the discussion hasn't even started, refrain from this like a good little boy should.

You just want to seem like you know what u're saying just by disagreeing. Anyway, I don't give a damn what happened to Trez or Crespo......whether they broke their pinkie toes or got a heart attack. I'm talking about now and last season, and that's exactly what this nomination is for.

Everyone knows the English leagues make Forwards look better then they really are since it favours direct play and therefor gives them more oppertuinities incontrast to other leagues like Seria A or Primera
Since when does everyone except your narrow little mind know that? Tell me Henry and RVN aren't two of the best out there.....after that, tell me who the hell is also a good striker in the EPL. The answer is: NO ONE.

But let me answer your claim

You answered yourself......when the top two teams run away with league having 84 freaking pts at the end, why the hell do you even bring it up?

Makaay is a good striker and in my opinion he's one of the top 4 in the world. But La Liga depends on open attacking style football which makes it relatively easier for strikers as opposed to defensive EPL and Serie A. Anyway, he's not better than RVN.....I haven't come up with this conclusion about RVN just by looking at his stats or watching one game. I have seen most of Man U's games last season..in all competitions. It's his movement, his anticipation, his lethal passes, and his commitment that made me draw this conclusion; not the media Mr. Media-Immune. Stop with all the lame crap. And I DO know that several of RVN's goals were PK's......that's besides the point.

HAHAHA.............Trezegeut........u made me laugh. :D

this is just too lame

since when is EPL defensive

strikers usually score less in La Liga then in EPL

Makaay is better then RVN just facts

has Ruud even scored a goal outside the box?
since you watch all his games you ought to know????

Anyways Man U stinks of overvaluation
first it was Cantona and then it was Becks now its going to be Ruud

guess -I better get use to it
its remarks like this that stopped me posting here in the first place discussing football with media feeding 13year olds
isn't what I consider a stimulant for the intellect,,,,,

but oh well
I guess I am going have to go back to Ian's

and wait for the ladies Lisa (Jules) and Lacerase to return....

Ohhhhh...........crying already??

Yes, RVN has scored from outside the box Mr. know-it-all. I'd like to remind u of the goal last season when he dribbled the entire team and placed it beautifully to the keeper's left.

Becks, I agree about..........I don't like him at all. But Cantona, what r u thinking!!

So, ur verdict is Makaay is better. Fine with me, but don't come attacking people personally just because they think otherwise.

Even though I obviously would like a Juve player to take the best defender award (Thuram), it would be a real sacrilege not to give it to Maldini. He deserves it more than anyone else.

i dont think thuram deserve the award more than maldini.... milan actually won the European Cup defensively so its rather fair that one of their defender won the award... and being legend at the last peak of the career and all maldini kind of fit the script
