1. presidential elections occur once every 4 years
2. politicians in ANY government, ANY country, ANY system have no interest in what the voters want. all they care for is votes and money from campaign supporters. you should not be that naive my friend.

3. there is far more politics and agenda's behind any war. its usually about economy, money, resources, strategic positioning, etc...
