ah c'mon guys. he is a great player. the only reason i dont like him is because he is jelous of del piero and stole his number. other than that he has great vision and has much talent. an excellent play maker if you ask me. but i dont know why he likes to take free kicks. give them to delpiero, totti sucks at them.

Count me in!
I must concede he's a skillful player, but he's got zero sportsmanship, a total cheater. He's arrogant and tries to be bigger than Alex in the NT. Apart from stealing his number, he steals his free kicks too :fero::fero::fero:. The only thing I respect about Totti is his loyalty to his team.

What loyalty? I assume you mean to the NT, seeing that's what the rest of your post was about...
If it's not a major part of an international tournament, then Totti always conventiently get just a little injured in the Roma game before the NT game, and regrettably can't play. Always in the closing minutes, always goes off gesturing to his leg. I don't remember the last time he played in a Euro2004 qualifier, and there have certainly been a few of them by now.
To me, loyalty to your team means always making yourself available even when you'd rather not. You don't see DP faking injury to get out of NT games. He's been about a thousand times more responsible for Italy's plight in Euro2004 than Totti has been (and I mean that in a good way). And it's not like Juve has suffered for him playing for his country. I think, as far as the NT goes, Totti is a cheap, glory-hog showboat who only wants to play when the world is watching.

However, if you mean Roma, then I guess the flip-side counts. By denying his services to the NT he demonstrates his preference to his club. I think it's a cheap way to show it, though.

Jeepers he annoys me.

Yeah I was talking about Roma. I guess I didn't think about much else than the fact that he's staying w/ Roma even though he could do so much better...but that whole thing about the NT is true.

The only 'vision' Totti has is for his reflection in the mirror.

Ahah I heard once that the Italian NT players always check their reflections before going onto the pitch :D

(Except Tommassi and Gattuso, noone needs reminding that they look like a train wreck)

indeed, we can't count on a worst sportmanship player in the NT as a key player. He will only made the NT in shame again, again and again.

Baggio made me so proud to be a Italy NT fans with his great fighting spirit and performance, but never totti will be......

Francesco Totti (Allsport)
05/21/2003. AS Roma idol Francesco Totti has hinted that he could one day leave the club.

"Roma are my life but if I was to leave then I'd like to play for Real Madrid," he said. "It's a club with a great deal of history and allure.

"Playing for Roma definitely puts me at a disadvantage in the race for awards. If I had played the same way with a Madrid shirt then I would have already lifted the Golden Ball."

I think He will leave for Either Inter Or Man Utd.
No Real madrid cause this position is stuffed with alot of world calss players.
No Barca cause No CL for Barca Next season.
And I choose Inter Or Manutd cause they are the only world class teams that can Buy him and grantee him 1st team football and are in the Cl Next season.
