No chance of the super League happening, the players dont want to wave goodbye to their national teams for so many different reasons.

UEFA really got the best cards on their hands and the players are trapped now.

And yet the best ice hockey players don't take part in the Olympic Games when their clubs don't let them. It's the same situation. They can't take part in the biggest ice hockey tournament in the world because of the league they play in.

Except with the NHL it's the IH Federation that begs the clubs to release the players all the time.

I expect the football federations to be in the exact same position soon enough.

I will oppose the entire thing if Berna's face isn't featured on a matchup
We have Kulu there, close enough.

We will see.

I’m having a feeling UEFA will have the last laugh in this.
Who the supports corrupt ass UEFA in this? These guys fucked themselves by screwing over every ambitious small-to-mid table club with FFP, while allowing oil money and state owned teams like PSG and ManCity to self deal ludicrous sponsorships and spend absurd fees on players. Probably taking bribes and kickbacks all throughout.

At least ESL is going to require full financial transparity and public reporting. UEFA and FIFA and the sheikhs would rather commit seppuku than allow that. The sooner these organizations die the better.

Listen I'm not by any means saying UEFA, FIFA and the likes are perfect or have done a perfect job, far from actually. Too much greed, corrupction and everything in it.

But I'm also not a fan of a super league where only certain teams can compete. It's against anything this sport stands for.

It’s not against anything. This sport stands for nothing with regards to small clubs since allowing Galactico era, and then allowing the PSGs and Man City’s of the sport to do whatever they want with impunity, while punishing less rich clubs continually. Football is the least competitive it has ever been with all the money involved. No one wants to watch Madrid or Bayern or Juve or Barca play some 3rd rate Turkish or Hungarian side in CL anymore.

UEFA is far more powerful and wealthy than these clubs, I'm worried that we'll be sanctioned so hard that our team will be murdered financially and competitively. The fact that Bayern and PSG are avoiding is worrying given that clubs like United with no success in years and clueless American owners are driving this for profits only. Also, will Porto get an invite given that they won their last CL before us while Atletico/Arsenal are in without ever winning one? This will be a bloodbath for us.
Psg is not there because of Qatar WC, Bayern are just waiting.

Real and Barca being there makes me certain it will happen. Hell, already happened.
