It will close the gap if it replaces all other competitions. If it's on top of everything, we'll still be dirt poor compared to EPL teams.
That's partly due to the revenue sharing program in italy, compounded by lack of progression to update infrastructure which would in turn create better yield on returns from gate receipts (whenever fans are allowed back). Ultimately, juventus is dirt poor compared to EPL clubs bc of other italy, the football governing body in italy, and other italian clubs.

Instead of trying to fix everthing outside of their control which they are dependent upon for profits Agnelli and company went ahead and created a business model that removes their revenue dependency on old, outdated, backwards institutions and systems.

Beacuse Milan would jump on 200mln wage bill and Atalanta would go back to 25mln, or hell, even stay on 40.

Just because gap exists by default doesn't mean it wouldn't increase 2-3 times.
Look at what Leicester has achieved in the past decade. They'll lose out while a has been club like Arsenal will suddenly make a lot more money and use that money to destroy the likes of Leicester in the league.

Im hoping for it man

for it to fall through i mean
If it falls through it makes us and the other big clubs look really bad in terms of image. I'd rather be the bad boy in the classroom that actually decided to walk out of the class, rather than the one who walked towards the door, only to be pulled back to his chair by the ear.

I find it hard to understand why the big teams shoudnt play each other every year. Watching the biggest teams play every week against each other would be much more entertaining than how it is now. Cl has maybe 1 interesting encounter per group, than a few at the next stage and only in the semis consistantly top matches. The best teams in eu play each other much to seldom, and thats why this needs to happen. I want to see juve against liverpool, real and barca every year, not every 4th or 5th year

What do you think about Juve losing against Porto and Lyon in the 1/8 finals ?

I don't think kids grow wanting to win something with a specific name. They want to win the most prestige competition. Some time ago they grew wanting to wing Champions Cup, then Champions League, now they will grow wanting to win Super League. It's just a change of name.

The one thing that struck me just now - Juve's ultras were not in attendance since 2018 anyway, so we won't lose the support haha, plus we won't win the league this year, so we won't be stripped of the title!

All the W's, lets goooo

All 6 games are pretty interesting to Apoel Nicosia, FC Copenhagen or Red Star Belgrade fans when they get in the CHL.

He is a good pundit, but he digs at juve constantly. Hardly professional
I watched the video but did not get any dig feeling from it. What is the dig you're referring to?

Wow 16% increase. It's like the Ronaldo effect all over again.
The implementation is well underway with JP Morgan admitting involvement.
Hopefully not with a similar fate
