Absolutely no way UEFA are going to do anything like that.

FIBA Europe tried with ultimatums for the Euroleague clubs, they wanted to reorganize basketball similar to how football is now, Eurobasket and Mundobasket qualifications in the middle of the season, they created a 'true' CL and demanded the Euroleague clubs to join in or they would be banned from national leagues. It didnt work out, the clubs didnt want to give up their huge incomes, and now we have a mess where national teams are the only victims because they cant rely on their key players who are busy with important Euroleague games during qualifications. Difference is Euroleague existed for almost 20 years by that time, and the FIBA morons still went with it.

Everyone wants a piece of the big cake which is sponsor and tv money, they care little about the small details
