I dont know why Tebas is so outraged, he bitches about EPL and UEFA all the time
Also I think people would stop freaking out if they just changed the name, this isn't like the original proposal at all.

Are you keen on the new UCL format though?
No, I hadn't thought of that. Ideally the current UCL format would have replaced the national cup tournaments like Coppa Italia. I just dont like the idea of playing 2 leagues simultaneously and I find cup tournaments more entertaining. But today I've found a lot of people online seemingly ok with this revised ESL structure as they seem to prefer it over the new UCL format.

60-80 teams in multi-divisions?

That's not a Super League. Those are just leagues.

They are obviously trying to fuck up UEFA as it is, by contacting these smaller clubs.
Its 6-8 teams. The added zero is a creative accounting maneuver

Honestly I would be one of those people. I would prefer the old UCL format to the SL. But the new one looks like 2nd league tournament too, albeit somehow fucked up. Everyone is in one league, but you are not playing everyone- you play only some teams based on your performances in previous year or some shit like that.
And if participating in the new SL will be based on sporting results (no fix places) why not do this? Removing the man in between- UEFA makes a lot of sense.

I feel like criticism I had with the original SL format are addressed. And I was one of the few in this particular forum who were against it :)

now they should make a domestic league too so we can fuck off from Italy.
That's probably the endgame, not this 58 - 60 team cup or league.
A full on Euroleague with 20-22 top teams at most, once the britbongs agree to join in the future.
The national leagues are going to become practice matches.
That's the real threat for the FA's and they know it.
No one would want to watch Juve vs Salernitana when they can watch Juve vs any giant team on a weekly basis.

I imagine Portuguese or Scottish clubs will push for this the most, for as much as Serie A sucks, it's not as bad or farcical as their top flights with literally only 4 and 3 clubs with positive goal difference and village and neighborhood clubs only there to make up the numbers. That will be the driving force I think
