I still think this is a good idea. Just terrible planning and execution which brings it back to another good idea which is as valuable as a grain of sand on a beach.

Well, the whole EPL is a freaking rhoided up comedy of football now. And the only way other national leagues compete is to drink the petrodollar milkshake of Arab owners. It's ugly, and it's making the biggest money events in football a pure investment affair that is of waning enjoyment to most fans,.

So I am all for whatever experiments are necessary. Even if calling the "new" Super League as "the anti-EPL" is a bit reductive.
