Finally saw the last episodes. Season 6 overall wasn't very good, but I liked the ending.

p.s. Lost sucks!!
I thought the second part of season 6 was excellent, if not the best, the first part was so-so.

Guys, what's your favourite moment in the show? Mine was when Paulie and Chris took that Russian guy to drop him of in the woods but he was still alive and escaped. Then Tony is calling Paulie on the cell but there was static going on so Paulie didn't understand him. Anyway Tony told him to be careful because the Russian was some ex-guerila who killed 16 Chechen rebels single handedly and Paulie understood him that he killed 16 Czechoslovakians single handedly. Paulie was shocked and thought they were done for. 16 Czechoslovakians...I laughed all day on that scene. :howler:

Pike Barrens (S03E11) said:
Tony learns from Valery's boss and best friend that, although he has developed drug and drinking problems since, Valery was previously in the Ministry of the Interior and once killed 16 Chechen rebels single-handed. However, the poor phone signal between Tony and Paulie results in a mix-up: Paulie passes the message on that Valery killed 16 Czechoslovakians and he's an interior decorator, to which Christopher replies, "His house looked like shit." As the night draws nearer, the lost pair begin to shiver and Paulie loses his shoe in the snow.

Yeah, that was a great episode. I think it's the favourite of many sopranos watchers. These two left alone for one epsisode, acting at it's best. And you just gotta love Paulie.

Anyway, not sure what my favourite episode is... I'll get back to you.

Most definitely that one. That episode was epic.

Starts at 4:46. :D

Chris: 16 Czechoslovakians. That's like Die Hard shit. He's gotta be out there stalking us.

Paulie: With what, his cock? :D

So anyone shed a tear when Bacala and Sil got shot?

Edit:Having watched the final scene again, I think Tony got shot.

.. Just watch the credits, the guest stars(the name of the guy staring at tony and going to the bathroom). Think about what Bacala said. Meadow's attempts at parking, her third attempt was succesful..

Though of course the 'genius' of the ending is that we won't know for sure, and that is kinda the point of it.

Didn't shed a tear but I was really bummed when Sil got shot, he was my favourite character.

Yeah well that's one of the "possible" scenarios, seems to be the most popular as well, because of the Godfather connection. Michael's first hit in part 1, he went to the bathroom, got the gun and bang...

I didn't see the Meadow connection though, but you're right, the third attempt was succesfull and this would be third attempt on Tony's life.. Could be, still I would have prefered some closure instead of a "for your consideration ending".

The entire show was all about Tony and mostly from his perspective, when he dies, the show stops.

Anyway this scene really stuck with me. It's the little details and references(raging ball in this case) like this, that makes the show so brilliant. I'm really going to miss it :D.

Yeah that was great. :D

Did you know Steven Van Zandt, who plays Sil, is actually a musician and plays for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band? Once he said he doesn't want to play any other rule other than Silvio Dante and so far he has kept his word. I agree, he was tailor made for this role, I couldn't see him any other role.

What a guy. :D
