Bar in town has a really old Macallan that costs £200 for a nip. Can't remember how old it is, though, and haven't got drunk enough to decide buying a nip of it would be a good idea.
It's a 65 year old Macallan, that was put in the cask in 1938.

Costs £225 for a measure.

Had The Speyside for the first time the other night.

Was pretty damn nice.

Mate insisted we have it since he used to grouse beat on the estate the whisky's from.

    How much is a measure?

I had a bottle The Speyside and thought it was really good.

Glenfiddich 15 would be a good choice, if not 12.

a very long dry finish to it. at first it has a dash of fruits (can't make out what it is) and sweetness of barley then it fades out slowly. a glass of water went nice with it

it's in the price range of a glenfiddich 15 but better, imo.

i've got a Jameson Gold Reserve somewhere, can anyone tell me if it's as good as it's price tag?
