The recommendations I received were Glenfiddich 12yo and McAllan(sp?). Glenlivet is nice too.

Chivas is more than drinkable, it's probably the best you'd buy to mix with coke. I can't even drink red label with coke. It's nearly as bad as smirnoff red label.
