So in other news, whatever happened to those people who were labeling me a racist for calling out Thuram and labeling him a mercenary? The guy wore the captain's armband (undeservedly) under Capello, and then as soon as he flied out of Turin for his new role as bench mut for Rijkaard, he suddenly made it known how much he detests Juventus. I observed his nonchalant behavior while wearing our armband, and knew such ungrateful comments were most certainly on their way. But no, I was just a mere racist for claiming such things.

But the reality is, anybody who acts in such a way deserves the least of my respect, and just about anybody's at this club. And furthermore, anybody who pushes his way out of this club and then blasts the club quite unfairly, will be placed in the same boat as the rest in my opinion.

Emerson is a good player, one the best what he does but, our management would be mad to add 31 year old to our team, when, lets be honest, we probably won't win Serie A for next two years or so. Players like Tach is a good rotational fodder, and nice mentor to have on the bench, because their dedication to the club and professionalism. Whilst I do think Puma is a good role model, the cost of bringing him would probably outweigh the benefit we will receive. We should just bring Tach to the team, and give chance to Rio Mavuba, who seems to be an interesting talent.

Zanetti, Tach, Mavuba, Paro might not make the grade at CL, but for qualifying CL, they should be competitive enough. I mean, beside, Roma, Inter, and Milan, there isnt a single team in Serie A with better squad of center midfielders.
we gona get tachinardi back?

I am not going to call you racist, since I have seen you talking superlatives for black players such as Dinho. In so far as Thuram is concerned, I am not too sure what to make out. Thuram has always struck me as a man with principles. He seems to be very forthright with respect to honesty, dignity etc. So he could be genuinely disgusted and betrayed as a sportsman by what our management did, if he truly believed Moggi were fixing those game behind the scene. Personally, I think he should have kept his mouth shut, but I would like to think this is what he felt.

As a player Thuram is one of few, I thoroughly enjoyed to watch. Personally, I reckon he is a better player (at least in his prime) than Canna, and going without a yellow card in Serie A for a defender for couple of season, is just sensational record, and a testimony to his supreme talent. He contributed well to our team, winning leagues, and going to CL, so in the end, I am willing to just let it go. Do I want him back as a coach like DD? No.

Well his loan contract ends this summer. Its highly unlikely Villareal will want to buy him. And considering Giannicedda is leaving at this end of season, we will need a rotational midfielder within our team. Tach is already on our books, and one of few really dedicated players out there, and I think he will have positive influence on youngsters like Paro & Marchisio.

hm, that wouldnt be bad.

But as i have hardly seen juve games this season, are the younger midfielders, like paro, more offensive or defensive midfielders? i wouldnt like the idea having just defensive midfielders especially in the time when nedved is getting older.

I would like to see a attacking player, like when we had davids. zanetti isnt that type of player, neither is tachi. Thats one of the reasons i wouldnt want emerson back.

personally i rate emerson very highly, but of all the players that left there is onoly one i would take back and that is zambrotta.
the rest were getting on and we were lucky to get the sort of money we did for them, thuram is getting his just desserts sitting on the barca bench, canna is finding that real are like inter and can turn any player into a huddy and emerson is finding the same.
we need to move forward and look to the future. buy young players and by the time we get back into the champions league we will ahve fostered a strong unit who will do us proud. let them grow and develop into a team and we will reap the benefits in 3 years time

exactly, and we really have players like paro and marchisio as mid fielders they might be average now but they just need time and experience and that takes some time. i think tacchi coming back would be alot better than seeing emerson back at juve.

paro sometimes moves forward during an attack carried by juve. i feel that he works really well at both roles, as for marchisio i really have'nt been paying good attention to him yet as he just started playing so i cant reaally tell u.

cant forget that tackle pure class for tacchi!!!. he def will be a role model for the youngsters and the thing about tacchi is that he moves forward i,e he adds sth to the strikers upfront and thats what we really missed during the emerson stay at juve, he is not as good upfront as tacchi, davids, and now paro. i think what juve needs is a dm like fabregas who can pass really well and in the same time has enough pace to run up and down the feild non stop and i see this in paro from the games i've watched this season.

Paro has played more defensive, IMO. Like Il Puma, he lurches up now and then as a tactical surprise, but mostly he seems to lean back more.

Marchisio hasn't been fielded as an offensive middie either. But he seems to play up a little more than Paro and, IMO, seems to have good passing skills from the center of the pitch. His shooting and crossing would need to be a bit better to be effective in a more offensive role.

would u be interested in watching the game thru sop cast?? i ve heard that u can get seria B on it but i honestly dont know how. i think juventus710 manages to watch it via sopcast when the games are not shown on jsc sports, and its much faster than anything else. i'll try sorting it out and i will get u the steps.

to be honest swag, i think paro does move forward on many ocasions i still remeber emerson he used to drop back and stay towards teh center but paro actually moves in alot more. as for marchisio i think he is talented but i still have'nt seen him play an entire game so i can tell u preciesly what he is all about.

Still need to have an experienced core through the middle of the squad, so while I wouldn't pay to get Emerson back I think Tacchi can certainly do a job, even if its only for one season to bring on the youngsters and then let either him or Zanetti go.
