Another positive side of Emerson's potential return to Juve is that he spent 2 years here allready and he's probably a very good friend to Gigi, Trez and Camoranesi.
We'll be getting one of the best DMC's in the world and a good friend to our star players.
It may as well make them stay with us.

It's my opinion only, but i think Buffon and co. will prefer Emerson over Mascherano or Mavuba .

I would LOVE to get Emerson back! I see him as the best ballwinner in the world and a return to Juventus would remarkably strengthen our team. Once we're back in Serie A next summer we need to buy one good defensive midfielder and two good central defenders and Emerson would be the perfect option in defensive midfield.

Despite the fact that I was sad to see Emerson leave, I have no hard feelings towards the man. I think we should listen to Del Piero - we shouldn't carry ill feelings towards those who left.

Emerson was our midfield rock for two years and gave a lot of joy to the fans with his amazing performances on the pitch where he always showed hard work and dedication. Having him back would be a dream come true and a move I'm sure we wouldn't regret.

So, I pray the rumours are true and hopefully Emerson and the Juve board can come to an agreement.

On another note I have complete faith in Deschamps. But if Lippi would accept to coach us again I wouldn't even hesitate one second. He would probably be the most suited man to lead Juve back to her glory days.

So, I'm gonna be an optimist and hope both Emerson and Lippi returns in the summer even though it may seem difficult to achieve!:pint:

If the price is reasonable and he'd even consider this 'non CL' juve over any team in Milan, then I won't have a problem with him coming back at all.

But I think he'd rather take a €4M/year at Milan than a €3M/year at Juve so we could as well stop dreaming.

If we somehow imbecilicly give Emerson another chance at Juventus, I hope the fans at the stadium boo his friggin name every time he touches the ball. I don't really care... he's a mercenary, plain and simple. He wanted to follow Capello to Madrid... that was his choice... and now he wants a return to this club once we are back in Serie A. I am absolutely not prepared to give this mercenary another chance to wear our shirt. Next year he will probably want to join Inter.

If he were to come back and play up to his best the tifosi would embrace him in a heartbeat if you ask me. As long as he plays well, what is the problem? And it's not like the Juventus fans have forgotten what he did for us... ;)

I think we're better off with trying to get Thuram back than Emerson. Thuram is a player/person I admire(d) very much, but still a little though. Emerson has no place in my heart.

I can't believe that I read something with sense in this topic.

You ( not just you Andy) dislike the 7 players who left us just because they didn't wanna stay with us in serie B, and it's understandable why you think so.

But which players would You guys like to get instead of Emerson or Zambrotta comming back to us ?
Mascherano, Huntelaar, Ronaldinho, Kaka .........

Now, lets say Mascherano, Ronaldinho and all of the players you'd like to come to Juve were Juve players before we got demoted ? Do you think they would have stayed with us or they'd have taken the first train out ?
I'm sure 95% of world (top) players would have left us just like Emerson did.
And i'm 10000% sure Ronaldinho would have left us.

So, why would you now like to have Ronaldinho when all of you know he would have left us, and don't want Emerson or Zambrotta back because they just happened to be in Juve at the time we got demoted, and left us afterwards ?
