Agree. Didn't think he he would beat Djoko in a night match , but he somehow did it. I don't think he was the favorite in this matchup.
If it wasn't for recuring injuries he would be so far ahead.

Without the recurring injuries he would have won 2009 French and Wimbledon. Was close to unbeatable from 2008-2010 when heathy. And he’d likely have another Aussie or two.

I consider the 2008 version of Nadal the best version of a tennis player in history.
He was like a machine.

Somehow Alcaraz lost to Zverev
I expected better from him.

At the highest level, the most challenging thing is to stay consistent. He's only 19 years old, he's already shown great potential. I think he will have a great career
I wonder if we are going to witness another player like the big 3 in our lifetime.
As you said all the players that seem to come after them are so inconsistent.
