the way i see it, and perhaps its not a very good perspective since there's no way i could've watched serie b anywhere this yr so i wouldnt know what juve is really like on the pitch - bottom line, deschamps got us our promotion, with 3 games to spare. he was the one who took on the job, and he was the one who achieved our goal. i dont know if he's the right person to lead us in serie a next yr or get a CL spot, but i darn well believe he is at least entitled to be given the chance. and wouldn't it be better to have him continue coaching us anyway, since he's already gotten to know the team for a whole year? throwing a new coach and a bunch of new players, and what you get is inter who had to resort to calciopoli to "win" a title.
well, dd left juventus, but i wouldnt say it was a one way street, the official statement said that "Juventus Football Club S.p.A. and Didier Deschamps have mutually terminated their contractual relationship that gave them both satisfaction, enthusiasm and success. The coach and the Club have recognized that the conditions necessary to continue their relationship with the same satisfaction are lacking, and therefore have decided to amicably separate" sounds like neither one would give in . and if the reports we've been reading prove to be true, i would side with deschamps. i think his opinion on the transfer strategy should count for much more since after all, he is the coach. just sounds like secco was being big headed and selfish.
but, as I said, i wouldnt know whats the real story. It's just sad, I had hoped that he would continue coaching us. it'd be interesting to see wht that Juve would've been like.
edit: might I add that I'd be damned if Iaquinta is one of our "hot signings"
