I think the real reason is that the board wants to bring in Lippi. Why? So Buffon will stay surely. He always said that he would love to play under Lippi.

That's the real plan here.

Juve fans defend Deschamps

Juventus’ split with Coach Didier Deschamps has infuriated sections of the Ultras, who suggest the club has been “shameful.”

For several weeks there has been strong speculation over Deschamps’ future on the bench and late last night the official confirmation arrived that he had terminated his contract “by mutual consent.”

It is widely believed the reason was that he disagreed with the transfer strategy put into action by director of sport Alessio Secco, publicly criticising potential new signings such as Giandomenico Mesto and Vincenzo Iaquinta.

The fans made their support for DD clear during Saturday’s 2-0 victory over Mantova at the Stadio Olimpico and went further when 100 of them applauded him outside the hotel where the squad was staying.

The Ultras group released a statement bitterly reprimanding the club for their treatment of the former midfielder.

“We believe in Deschamps. We believe that the club mistreated him and can only thank this man. He is the great Didi, a real man, professional and Juventino.

“We ask the owners to take serious action against the current Board of Directors, who are shaming us on the world stage and muddying 109 years of glorious history.”

The supporters also made it very clear they would not accept the return of Fabio Capello, who was rumoured to be making a comeback by the Spanish media.

Instead the Italian Press suggests that World Cup winner Marcello Lippi will be the one to come back to Turin, bringing Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro with him.

Deschamps also found support from Inter Coach Roberto Mancini. “He took Juventus to promotion three rounds early despite a nine-point penalty. What more could they ask for? I think he has been very harshly treated.

DD RESIGNED !!! No one threw him out the friggin' door

so, as far as I can tell, he didnt get his way on something (and none of us really know what goes on behind closed doors), and he bolted

what makes him any better than CRAPello ???
True that we dont know what happend inside the club!..

The difference is that DD is a true Juventino..! Capello is not..!

The way I see it is this: Didi resigns to go to Lyon- he is french and Lyon is better at the moment-
He wanted more money and a say in transfers
Secco didn't give in to his demands, you can blame him but he has a point
Please judge him after the transfer-window
I'd love to see Lippi as manager and Conte as coach!

it was mutual with DD.

to me its not about him quitting or not, there should've been a project planned from the beginning( or so i thought or the lying board explained it that way) and if DD was not part of it then the right person should've been brought from the beginning instead of unsettling the squad.

Finally you are all making more sense now
Nobody sacked Didi
I'm sure a new coach will be named shortly
Why are you blaming the board Deschamps couldn't agree his terms for a new contract and tha's that
Secco is young and has all to prove but he deserves a chance so wait and see
besides you all think Didi is a juventino but he asked the board for a chance and got it but he then wants his players and a bigger salary while he has only achieved what everybody expected him to do
I'm not happy but I'm not that sad either that he left
we all critisied him during the season and now we cry our eyes out because he left
ahrr grow up:pumpkin:

The Ultras are the voice of reason. Afterall, they attend the matches every week and know what they're doing. If they stick with Didier, I will follow them. The rest of the faggots/cocksuckers who have had something against Didier since the beginning can suck my fucking dick. Fuck you all, fucking faggots.

Don't care if you'be wacthed every match. Have some GODDAMN LOYALTY, you imbeciles.

i wouldnt go as far as equating him to capello; but let us evaluate him as a coach both pragmatically and in intangibles.
First things first, Didier accepted to coach (not help!) juve at a time where it wasnt too attractive, whether it was his plans from the begining to use this card later or not it is definitely commendable. Yet his contract ran only until 08 so a soon departure was a looming possibility.
Now to his abilities as a coach, lets be honest here he really didnt prove anything; a squad with such names as buffon camo nedved and del piero would make it out of serie B with a sock as a coach. If anything his decision making was dodgy at best, squandering a few leads and making inopportune substitution( i wont even get to the bojinov debacle), and lets not forget the early exit out of coppa at the hands of napoli.
Finally, Secco is Didier's boss. If he asks for players and Secco brings in others then the weight of failures is squarely on Alessio's shoulders. until we hear further clarifications i wont hail deschamps a martyr or secco the inquisitor.

Deschamps was probably brought in for a year to begin with.I dont think any thing would have made him stay, even if we had gnoe through the season unbeaten or even if he didnt have his differences with Secco.Having a few bad days on the sidelines and his differences with Secco only gave the board more reason to kick him out.

Its all tailor made for a Lippi return.

Yeah! Fuck you all!! Yeah! Yeah! Brraaaaap! Brraaaap!

DD was the only one who had balls to take us back to serie A whilst all the shrivelled cocks ran a mile at the thought or our status and point deduction. and after his efforts it ends up like this. Disgusting. Im ashamed!:disagree:

Next manager had better be a well known one for us and for the rest of the hardcore Juventinos. Cos we simply cannot have another pantomime summer with speculation and unrest. Set the foundation FFS and show faith in our managers.

All in All it should be Lippi.. This would make the stars stay with us (Buffon 4 sure) and it would be easy for us to get new big signings..

DD is gone, Get over it.. No one is happy the way it ended, but we still dont know the whole truth on why and what happend inside the club..

Coaches come and go..

Forza Juve !
