No offense to anyone, but I believe politics is for fools, we all fell for them, including me. They get you an image, they show you and hide behind it, and do whatever they want. I trust prostitutes more than politicians.
There is a big difference (imo) between being a politic animal (Aristotle, anyone?) and being a politician.

In the end, everyone has an agenda so you should take these things with a grain of salt. Interesting information nonetheless.

Every human being is a political animal according to Aristotle.
No; only the humans that live in the Polis are politics animal. The rest are animals (barbarians) or Gods, but it's more likely to be an animal than a God.
Being interest in politics doesn't mean to be in a certain political party, it's not about if you support Obama, or whatever. It's about to care about where you live. Etymologically, Politics is conformed by the word Poli (city). So you can see that it's mean to your city, to be involved of things that happens in your Polis or your country, even of the planet (considering this as the "modern" concept of "Polis").

If you have an opinion about something - anything - your are being a politic person ;)

Oh, I see. I mean, it would be very frustrating that someone came and tell me something like that. Specially when I'm studying philosophy and I'm reading Aristotle and pre-socratics almost everyday. Maybe that is the definition of irony.
But yeah, I know what you mean. Fucking snobs.

I meant that people usually quote Aristotle even though they don't really know what he's talking about.
Ow, I see. Yeah, that does happen a lot. I don't know why people do it though, it makes them look like idiots.

Whats it to you?
It's just that you paraphrase Aristotle, but you seem to have missed the point. No Greek from that period would have ever said such a thing anyway.
