No; only the humans that live in the Polis are politics animal. The rest are animals (barbarians) or Gods, but it's more likely to be an animal than a God.
Being interest in politics doesn't mean to be in a certain political party, it's not about if you support Obama, or whatever. It's about to care about where you live. Etymologically, Politics is conformed by the word Poli (city). So you can see that it's mean to your city, to be involved of things that happens in your Polis or your country, even of the planet (considering this as the "modern" concept of "Polis").
