I think they'd call a roughing penalty because you can't hit a guy after the whistle and if the guy touches it first then the play is dead. They don't want serious injuries to happen but I still don't understand why they don't implement the hybrid icing rule.

Cool, thanks. That injury yesterday looked pretty serious even though there was almost no contact. First time I've seen a stretcher brought out.

I hope to god that Ribs stays, but he'll be a free agent by the end of this season. If he doesn't want to sign an extension we should trade him now for something decent.

Ribeiro has a great season but typically he's nowhere near that level. Therefore his and Caps idea about the money and length he should receive may be kinda different. Also they may get a pretty decent pick or prospect for him so why the hell not.

Chimera has been a dud this season. He always gives 105% on the ice, but he keeps skating into awkward offsides, turning the puck over on the blue line. On top of that he can't score a goal to save his life, I really hope someone snaps him up.
