Yes I can, and I will.

If you think I was mad about the Gomez deal, that would absolutely pale in comparison to how I'd react if they got him. He is the antithesis of everything that is good about hockey. I hate him. Absolutely hate him, and it would be a slap in the face and disgrace to the Canadiens orginization and its fans if they were to get him.

Thankfully, that piece of vermin known as Raffi Torres did not get traded to Montreal. I may continue loving them.

Also, Danny Kristo just signed a 2 year contract and will be reporting to Hamilton. This is in addition to Brady Vail, Charles Hudon, and Sebastian Collberg (All 2012 draft picks), already being signed and going to Hamilton

Good day all around

You got lucky, Serge; apparently they made a legitimate offer for Torres.

Boston picks up Redden. So much for that "I'm not just looking to add numbers" thing...

Been reading the reaction of Habs fans about how they didn't acquire another scorer at the deadline.

Did they, or did they not, acquire Michael Ryder a little more than a month ago?

Just checking.

@Mark

Martin Erat and Michael Latta - what say you? I have no idea who they are. Latta was a 3rd round pick in 2008. Also this Filip Forsberg that we traded, decent prospect or?

I can't believe you traded Forsberg, I can't freakin' believe it!!!

I can't believe also that TB traded Conacher.

:sergio:

Erat is ok. Good for the 2nd line. Fast but defense so-so.
Latta is a poor version of Ribeiro.

Forsberg is a 1st rounder, 11th overall. Right shot and can score. Clutch player.

Ah, that's why virtually everyone is calling for McPhee's head at the caps forums

The more I'm reading about this Forsberg I'm struggling to make sense of this.

Is Latta developed yet? He seems to be pretty young.

Supposedly one of your top prospects. But a couple seasons away from NHL.

Latta may not have ideal size for an NHLer, but he has shown that he has ample heart. He's displayed a willingness bordering on zeal for competing in the corners and in front of the net, which is why the Storm paid a heft price in obtaining him from Ottawa in the Anthony Nigro trade. Latta's an effective playmaking center who improves his linemates both through skill and by setting an example on how to pay attention to the intangibles that separate winning teams from the mediocre ones.

Who knows, he might turn out good but FORSBERG?
