Much better period but too sloppy defensively. Whenever Lilja loses the puck in the offensive zone you know we're fucked. Still can't like that dude.

My dad and I are swearing and yelling at the top of our lungs, and my dad would never do such a thing under normal circumstances. That's how CRAZY this game is tonight.

We stepped it up like crazy in the second and third, to epic proportions. Those shots by Flips and Hank were sick nasty. The play in the corner by Hank for the one goal was crazy, and he has done that before, like the final game reg season against the Chi where he took the puck from our zone to theirs and passed it off nicely for a goal in OT.

We need to step it up like that for the rest of the playoffs.

MUCH LOVE BOYS. KEEP IT UP.

Next game at the JOE Sunday at 3pm.

    Blackhawks fan on another forum:

"Thanks for another season of promise down the drain you bunch of f***ing losers. Good first period then the rest of the game you stand around watching these broken down old mothef*****s beat your sorry asses like usual. Every time you play the Wings in a big game you get your asses kicked. One goal was the seasons motto. Yep one goal is all that kept you from getting home ice throughout the conference finals. Hope Nashville puts us Hawks fans out our misery in the first round. Better then getting them crushed later on when our wimps decide to stand around in awe if we meet the Wings again. Denny Savard , hope you get a chance to coach somewhere else and come shove Quennville right down the Hawks management throats and up their stupid asses. Typical Chicago team lets it faithful hard working fans pay big bucks to be left with nothing. Get a coach who knows how to motivate players to win big games. Six game streak nothing more then another big tease. Rather they'd missed the playoffs then have to watch some more hosesh*t efforts."

Might work against the Habs but if Malkin and Crosby are your only two players stepping up you'll be done before you can say Jagr.

I've watched both games and it really is all Malkin and Crosby. Tonight they were deployed on the same line as well. When that sort of thing happens it doesn't usually work in the long run.

i'm sure dan is on the case. Tonight was sth special...if we lost it, we were out in a huge hole, so he choosed to play his best players in the same line...i'm sure he won't do that in ottawa
