Love the avatar, Blondu: +1. Best hockey moment ever.

I don't know what the talk around these parts tonight is all about... the Bruins don't play until tomorrow...

    -REP for the avatar.

And just for Rollie, I hope Boston crashes and burns.

Like the Canucks, dude, if you're so Canadian.

EDIT: Oh and Blondu, like Romania's hockey team, don't glory hunt for Canada.

Nope, I'm a one team man. Once my allegiance is given, it's a done deal. Bruins for life... and I know you've got a soft spot for my team. :spliff:

I do show a little bit of love for the Canucks - and the team is a fun one to watch - but generally speaking, and in a strictly hockey sense, most of their fans don't know their ass from their elbow.

As for me being so Canadian... well, I definitely am.

My dad is from New Mexico though, and I could get my US citizenship anytime I want (my sister actually works in a lab, at the children's hospital in Hollywood - she's got her citizenship)... but it doesn't make sense for me right now, because of tax complications.

I've got love for you foolish yanks, yo.

Yeah, it was definitely the most memorable sporting moment of my life, watching the game with a great group of friends...

That and being front row for Canada Vs Russia. That was epic, but I was by myself. It's OK though: I made the front page of the Toronto Star for that one, so despite the fact that I went solo, nobody can contest that I was really there... try as they do...

Oh, and forget Andy; We've always got room for one more fan, buddy. :juventus:

I don't feel alone at all. I know for a fact your fellow Pens fans Burke and Aaron feel the same way as I do, and laugh at your supposed glory after the Gold Medal. It's absolutely pathetic and I feel sorry for you.

What do you expect, chief? You having such an avatar when you know full well you are not Canadian and you have true Americans supporting their team here. And you think you're not going to receive stick? Grow up, support Romania.

you're not italien, go support dc united or galaxy or sth...
    I do support DC United.

Now go work on that Canadian citizenship.

i sorry if avatar offended you, that wasn't my intention. i'll change it 1st thing tomorrow. But this is childs play compared to a friend of mine who putted the romanian comment on sid's goal.. You should hear the way he yelled..and he supposed to be unbiased.

And i said you'll feel very alone in the discussion about me supporting canada. I wasn't hunting glory, i was very happy for them..i was sad in 06 believe me.

I don't feel offended at all, you can keep it for as long as you like. Hell, you can mention it all the time, it wouldn't make a difference to me.

Don't change your AV, man. Andy doesn't care... he's already printed that pic up in a 4' x 6' high res glossy, and he's mounting it to the ceiling above his bed, as we speak...

The Habs defense is getting pretty old. That really needs to be addressed. Most of the crew is 35 or 36.

But yeah, they could use a guy like Giroux for sure. Doubt Philly will move him though.
Subban and Yannick Weber are 21 and 22, respectively, and both will be in the rotation next season. They have Josh Gorges and Ryan O'Byrne, who are 26 and 24, but yes, Hamrlik and Spacek definitely bring the average age of that corps through the roof. I think Markov is 31. It would have been nice to see the numbers he would have put up this season if he were healthy all year. I wouldn't be surprised if he were on the trading block.

I think that if he were, there would be a long line of suitors interested in his services.

As far as Giroux, the last thing they need is another small winger, to be quite honest with you.

Giroux is listed as a winger, but when I watch the Philly games, they often talk about him being a natural center. You're certainly right about the size factor, Montreal is teeny fucking tiny. But what a Power Play those little guys run...

Either way, Halak's the one to keep. Not sure there's a deal to be made with Philly. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Philly half asses it again, and settles for Turco short term, or something to that effect.

Fagboy, I'm surprised you haven't mentioned anything about the Ginn trade
Have I not? I love that move...
