Yeah, a 5th round pick for Ted Ginn is a hell of a move, if only for the huge upgrade in the return game.

If Jerry Sullivan can somehow turn him into a good receiver, then watch out.....now.

Davis, Crabtree, Morgan, Ginn. That's some pretty good young talent there.

No doubt buddy, I just updated my post in the NFL thread, but I completely agree. Jerry's the man, and if anyone can help Ginn out, it's Sullivan. It always gets a bit tricky when the problem is the receivers hands, though. Could just be poor concentration, but likely it's a bit more than that. He is going to open up a TON of space for those other guys, though - great addition as a 3rd receiver. Now if we can just get that fucking O-Line settled.

Edit: Time for sleep, but in the next couple days I definitely want to hear who you would pick for the 49ers in 5 days. Fuck... 5 days... I love the sound of that. Players within reason, of course, and fitting needs.

Night y'all.

Thing is, I just don't know.

I would love to see Joe Haden and Brandon Graham, but only if they sign someone like a Flozell Adams to play RT for the next 2 years. In theory I would like to see them trade down and acquire more 2nd and 3rd round picks.

Andy, I'm an insomniac.

Lucic looks ready to go! There's almost nothing better than rolling out of bed at 9:45 AM on a Sunday, picking up a cup of freshly brewed coffee, an sitting down for some playoff hockey. Fuck yes. Playoffs have been awesome so far.

GO BRUINS! This game is imperative.

Great effort today by my boys. Played a nice, physical style, good pace to the game - especially late - good forecheck for most of the night, excellent activation by the D men. Finally got enough traffic in front of Miller, something they'll have to continue to focus on against the worlds best tender. Excellent display of character from the team, after trailing 2-0 and 3-2... never say die. A total team effort.

It was damn exciting to see Ryder finally pop a couple goals (beauty give and go on the 2nd), and Wideman really had an excellent day as well. Wides was very solid. I criticize those two guys a ton, but credit where credits due; we'll certainly need them to play well if we're to advance.

Unfortunately Lucic didn't have a good game, and had an absolutely brutal giveaway for the third goal, which nearly cost Boston the game. We had all the momentum, and that nearly killed it for us. Gotta find a way to get this kid engaged... hopefully Claude doesn't move him down to the 3rd/4th line for next game. Lucic was finally playing well to end the regular season... gotta keep that confidence up.

I also loved the way that Tuukka battled back after a rough start, and a ridiculously poor 2nd goal. This kid is absolutely awesome, and was brilliant in the 3rd period. Franchise goalie all the way...

Edit: Haden would be great for us, Sergio. I'm totally on board for that. I like Graham too, but I really think that we need to address that OL, given this years talent pool and the range of our picks... so I don't really want to move down. Would love to see Iupati at 17... i heard that he's struggled a bit when playing on the right side, but he was lights out on the left. He could probably work that technique out, and fill our need on the right side. We need a guard over there badly, and he's definitely got quality. Plus, I like the idea of a big angry Samoan on our OL.

Are you scared because Ryder scored twice, and Wideman had a good game... ergo, the apocalypse must be upon us?

Or because Ovechkin has isolated his problem (I believe he said that he needs to listen to more music before the game, and consume more energy drinks)?
:p

Good luck tonight, buddy. I would love to see a 7 game Montreal win in this series....

Wow. And that right there is why you don't fuck with this Montreal powerplay.

Taking these first two would be ridiculously massive. I wonder how long it will take for Washington to wake up?

Edit: Yeah, it's clean... hurry the fuck up already, Toronto.
