Habs fans, what's the deal with Emelin waiting on surgery? I was surprised to see that he just had his ACL/MCL repaired today, considering he got hurt on April 6th. What gives? 6 month recovery, why did they wait 6 weeks before operating, was that necessary for some reason?

Huge win by the B's tonight, really played a solid game. King Henrik was unreal, almost stole this one for the Rangers. Officiating wasn't great, NYR have now played back to back games at MSG with a grand total of zero penalties. I'd be interested to see when the last time that happened was (Edit: just checked the box, I forgot there were the offsetting minors to Marchand and Dorsett; still no Boston PP).

Thorny with two assists, Paille with the winner, and Campbell was great all night. Merlot Line FTW :touched:
We're scratching our heads too here. Some say they waited for swelling to stop but that's woudln't take 6 weeks. :boh:

so BOS vs PIT huh? Gonna be a nice series. :numnum:

now about the juniors, gotta say I expected more from Zadarov. Yes he's big and got the tools but I wanted more. He's still young and can develop into a very good D. Now that Domi kid. He's so going to TOR. :D

I'm telling you, they're being favored at the garden :p . How many penalty minutes did the B's have? Didn't watch the 3rd period.
Just 4 mins, iirc (6 mins total, with Marchy's coincidental), NY was 0/2 on the PP. Refs really just tucked their whistles, missed a few for sure. The Bruins have raised their level of play the past couple of games, I'm starting to get a little excited; last game felt a bit like 2011.

Of course, even if the B's can close out the Rangers, I heard there's a team from Pittsburgh that's alright. Gotta love playoff hockey.

I love watching Toews in the penalty box, it's beautiful. Not such a gentleman after all, the fuuck.

What a season it will be for the Hawks should they fail to move to the Western Conference finals. Very fitting.

Our third line has really been causing them trouble. The penalty killers have been excellent as well. Jimmy Howard might be the most consistent goalie in the playoffs thus far, hope that continues.

I don't know how they do it. But Babcock has really organized the team in the past month. The defense looks nothing like it did, it is truly amazing. What a coach and what a team.

The team is really amazing and I'm eating lots of crow. I've basicly written them off after 1 month when we looked terrible. But damn they leveled up their game so much in the last month.

Guess who is lurking, and just might, just might do it again.

Those Los Angeles Kings. I called it last year (and got laughed at. Looking at you, RUS) They could do it again

Pens fans think the Eastern conference is better than the West.

They're like Hawks fans. It's sort of sad.

    Not everybody, but some.

Boston fans are similar to Philly. Philly fans are the absolute worst, trust me. In any sport. They're like urban rednecks.
