who would you guys say is the hottest upcoming talent these days?
I'm very biased, but if we're talking about offensive players who have been in the league for 2 years or less, keep your eyes on Tyler Seguin moving forward. His developmental trajectory is going to be a little slower than some elite volume scorers, because of the system, the amount of talent on the team, and the accountability that is required in Boston, but he turned 20 at the end of January and led the Bruins in scoring this year (67 points) - while posting a ridiculous +34 rating.

Mature beyond his years, very motivated, and has made very impressive gains in strength and conditioning (which are sure to shoot up again this year - the guy is a workout warrior. The gains he made last offseason, coming off a long Cup run, were extremely impressive/noticeable). When you consider that he plays alongside a guy who is considered one of, if not the best conditioned athlete in the league (Chara), as well as a model of professionalism/one of the most well rounded forwards in the league (Bergeron), everything is in place for Seguin to explode in the coming years. He's surrounded by some great role models.

Intelligent, elite skill-set, tremendous vision, great hands, blazing speed, great release and a canon of a shot. I think Tyler Seguin should have been the #1 overall pick in 2010, it's lucky for Boston that he was a full year behind Hall in his development (and that Brian Burke made a pretty big mistake trading that package of picks for Kessel), because I think Central Scouting got it right when they projected him as the better long-term prospect.

Obviously I'm very happy he ended up in Boston.

Actually, I just remembered you're a Caps fan - if you watch the upcoming series, you should see plenty of him!

That's a good answer too, Marty. Gabby Landeskog is a sick player... and smart, too. The man already speaks English like it's his first language!
Yeah he's been over there for a couple of years I think. I've seen a couple of interviews, his english is great. Far better than mine :p

Seguin is awesome...and the Bruins is my team in the NHL games (NHL 12) :p

Your English is pretty solid, Marty. Thing with Landeskog is he doesn't even have an accent! It's crazy!

Niiiiiiice. I bet the team is really balanced in the new game, I'm going to have to check that out.

Oh no you... YOU'RE POOP, Mr. E.

But your lads look primed for a run :D B's v. Pens would be a great conference final.

Hard hitting, dirty defensemen, power forwards. Nope, I like them ;)
Hopefully the boys play their game against the Caps. Time to lay the body!

Penguins is the only team I really, really hate :D
They're probably the most hated team in the league.

With good reason, I'm sure.
Says the kid that likes the team that invented the Goon.:D

That would be epic. Hopefully we can get by the Flyguys in 5.

So Aaron really is a Penguins fan? But you seem so smart!

:p We'll beat you guys, in a pretty fun playoff series might I add.
I was born that way. My dad was a security guard at the Melon in the 1970s, while in college. So we've been Pens fans forever, kind of like how you have no control over your evil ways.:D

Should be epic, but we'll win in 5.
