really?.. damn.. he did well against Barca.. i donno.. we havent seen the real Balzareti yet..
And I'm convinced that Mancini wouldn't work well as a defender, y not try Balza instead? After all he's the star of Torino.

I cant believe Moggi has agreed for such a move. Capello has proven once again his stubborness and limitations as a coach. Hes inherited and converted his Juve team in to half Roma. I shudder to think what Lippi wouldve done with a team that had Mutu, Ibra, Cannavaro and Vieira in its ranks. And yet Capello is complaining wanting more of his Roman disciples.

This is complete stupidity, idiocity at its peak. How did Moggi accept giving away Mutu AND Chiellini?? I thought Moggi was more mature than that, why would he do what Capello is asking him to? Damn, I am disappointed.

Roma never did anything in the CL, they suck there....why would the players be better while playing in Torino?

Juve agree Cassano move - Report Thursday 25 August, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roma’s fans made it clear Antonio Cassano’s days at the club are numbered and it’s reported Juve reached an agreement for the player today.

There are claims that Bianconeri director general Luciano Moggi met with his opposite number Daniele Prade’ in Rome this morning and agreed to exchange Cassano for Adrian Mutu, Giorgio Chiellini and a cash sum. It’s suggested that an official announcement will be made on Friday.

The former Bari starlet has rejected terms for a contract extension with the Olimpico outfit and his current deal expires at the end of the season.

To prevent him leaving on a free transfer, the Giallorossi hope to sell him off now and at least make back £13m of the £20m they paid for him in 2001.

Roma have threatened to leave Cassano on the bench for the entire campaign if he doesn’t “confirm his status as a member of the squad by signing a new contract,” but the final straw came last night.

During the team presentation at the Stadio Olimpico, Cassano was roundly insulted by the crowd and only came on for the second half in the 2-0 friendly victory over Arab side Al Ain, with goals from Vincenzo Montella and Rodrigo Taddei.

The fans also hurled abuse at the Italian international when he attended teammate Francesco Totti’s wedding earlier this summer and the rapport with the notoriously fiery Roma supporters is at breaking point.

So are you trying to tell me we cant win the CL with Mutu? What good is a coach if he cant do what is asked of him with the team he has? One can understand minor changes here and there, but this is simply ridiculous. With Capello we've done what we generally dont, drafted in big transfers like Vieira, Emerson and Ibrahimovic. The point remains is he has an adequately equipped player in Adrian Mutu who deserves a chance to say the least. If Capello isnt comfortable with that he doesnt deserve to be coaching a top tier team like Juventus. And maybe should consider a move back to Roma. Lipp has done a lot more with a lot less.

I'm just really pissed with this move in particular if it is indeed true. There is no rationale behind it. You've got Miccoli who doesnt want to play for you, Zalayeta who wants to be sold and Del Piero who doesnt have the legs in him anymore, and what do we do? Choose the most talented of the lot, who could actually fit into any team in Europe, just so Capello can have his way.

I really hope that this is juz a ****ing rumour, or else I would really be fuming at Capello for his incapability to utilize players who he didn't work with b4. We gave up our left-sided players to a Cassano, simply unbelievable.
