That's the kind of numbers that people expect from him. A triple double threat every night, but he has to be more consistent in his aggressiveness. He's never going to be a 25 ppg player. Its just not his style. But 16/10/10/2 is the type of player he can be. And there is nothing wrong with that, especially with his work on the defensive end of the game. He could end up being a top 2-way PG in this league. Not many PG's in this league play much defense, but he seems to be able to do it in a team and individual basis.

And let's not forget that he absolutely locked up Kemba Walker tonight. Shut him down completely.

:agree:

If he can get his shot sorted to be a .350 type of 3 point shooter, and .425-.450 overall shooter, he's gold. His vision, passing, rebounding, and defence are legit. I'd love to see him round into that type of player you mention. 16/10/10/2. Would be amazing with defence he has.

Kuzma looks like a 20+ ppg player. Now all that's left to really have the Lakers contending is Ingram, if he can work on his shot selection (takes way to many low percentage mid-range jumpers), and get his 3 point shot going, be a 20+ ppg player too, this team is set. Anything we sign in free agency would be gravy.

The bench looks good too. Svy is starting to impress me. Shooting 50% from 3 the last 5 games, and is passable on the defensive end. Would like to see more of Wagner, but he looks like a decent bench option at least as a scorer.

And Isaac Bonga is going to be a beast imo. The guy has improved so much since his disastrous summer league. His physical tools are really impressive. He won't be there this year, but I can see him making meaningful contributions next season and developing into something special after that.

Only watched 1st half but Zo was really good. And on the road too, where he usually struggles. Really hope we dont trade him, important piece to our defense and fast breaks. If he can become a consistent scoring threat in the halfcourt, hes gonna be a allstar caliber player imo.

On another note, Kuz has been on beast mode last month or so. Scoring consistently but also better on defense and rebounding, while he often asks to bring up the ball and inniciate the offense. Love what im seeing

If we get consistency from him and Zo, we are a really good team even before adding a 2nd max. But his issue is different than Lonzo, as you mention. he needs to work on adjusting his game next to Lebron, thats his main problem. Both are ball dominant, so it will take some time for them to learn to coexist. And when i say them, i mean Ingram, he is the one that needs to find ways to be productive on offense with James, or else we might consider running him with the 2nd unit and start Hart/KCP, as i suggested some time ago, even tho his defense at SG has been great so far.

I also have to say, i love all our veterans so far. Mcgee, Chandler, Rondo, KCP, Beasley, Stephenson (i dislike his iso play on every possession while the kids stand and watch, but still love the crazy mofo). Hope we can bring most of them back next year, even tho it will be tough if we add a 2nd star, especially Mcgee and KCP. But atleast Rondo, Chandler and Beasley and im good

And lastly, sucks we couldnt keep Julius Randle. Guy is a beast

The frustrating thing is that if this team could hit it's free throws, they would be 1st in the west right now. And that's not me puffing my chest out. It's the truth. There have been at least 2 games that were lost because of poor free throw shooting.

No, the one time i skip he plays a lot ans does well :sigh:

Would like to see him consistently do similarly good, could become an asset
Dude. Zubac is doing it again tonight... 8/10 shooting - 16 pts - 3 boards - 1 assist - 2 blocks in the first half.

After going 8/10 for 16 pts - 11 boards - 2 blocks - 2 steals last game.

Have we entered an alternate reality? :weee:

Im really happy for him. Watched 1st half last night, Lebron was looking for him all the time out of the pick and roll, others as well. was nice to see us trying to build up his confidence because early this season he looked out of place and as much of an NBA player as myself. Jonathan Williams even outplayed him. Id like him to stick around but with us chasing that max player there might be no room for him in the salary cap. Hes probably gonna join Randle and Thomas Bryant on the list of players we developed and let go for nothing

Warriors so bad, we cooked them without Lebron lol. Rondo stepping up when we needed him. Stephenson hitting some important shots. Zubac with a great game again. 3 games in a row which he started, he was unstoppable. very happy he turned it around after early season struggles.

last season we saw a team that matches up with them as good as or better than anyone else (probably except the Rockets), this game further confirms it. lets see if we can do that when theyre at their best

cant believe im staying up/going to bed early to wake up for this. we need Lebron, Kuz and Rondo back ASAP, totally different team without
:agree:

Lebron and Kuzma are our best players. Ingram is still massively disappointing. I thought with Lebron being out, he’d step it up, but his shot selection is still so terrible. Until he gets smarter with that, he won’t take the next step.

i thought hes simply a missfit next to James, and that he worked hard on his game during summer to make the next step to a borderline allstar this season, so i expected some good things in these games. but so far, i just dont see "it" in him. had 3-4 really good games but has mostly disappointed, forcing plays and taking difficult midrange shots over defenders. the talent is there, but a lot of other guys had that, making high IQ plays is what i want to see. atleast with Lonzo i can put my finger on some things and say, there this is what makes him special, so we know what he has to work on to become elite. with BI, i struggle to see NBA greatness, and i really try to like him.

to me, hes the tradeable asset we have atm. so after we fill out the roster in the summer, hes the guy id surround a package of salary fillers and draft picks around to try to further improve the team. especially if we get Leonard or Durant, then his role on the team further decreases
