It’s cute that you guys have such high hopes for the Lakers.

On a more serious note, with the exception of Golden State, I think the East is as good as the West. The Bucks, Raptors, Sixers, Celtics, Pacers all are showing signs of being great teams in the long run with teams like the Knicks only missing a major piece to be up there.

nope. maybe in 4-5 years, but right now the west is clearly better

Hey ALC, how awful is Philly right now? Told you they arent a competition for Celtics, even less so now then last season, and they are not capable of competing for real with a Kawhi lead Toronto. Its basically Embiid does everything on offense or you go bust, since your starting lineup are are all predictable non shooters (or a poorly shooting Covington right now). Saric looks awful right now, one of the worst in the league awful, Fulltz is schizofrenic with his shooting form and shouldnt start with Simmons, changing mid game with his forms/strokes, and Simmons is a flat out liability for inability and worse refusal to even try to shoot. Whoever marks him just sags off and waits under the basket.

Bench is depled without Ilya and Belli, only an oldish true shooting gun likeJJ doing the biz.

Gonna be a loooooooooong season and few years, aslong as Simmons refuses to improve his game to basic acceptable shooting range, this team badly needs a shot creating ISO chucker ala a Kemba/Lillard etc. Too much ball watching and Embiid doing everything in the post in sluggish half court (league figured out Simmons drive and kick, unless its in transition, his game is well read/neautralized regardless of insane overall abilities with the ball).

Well the team changed a bit and Brown is trying to get Fultz to be a starter so considering our record, I don’t think we’re awful. They’ll only get better as they play more together. I agree that Simmons need to develop his shot but we’re 5th and Boston is 4th. That’s what happens when you have young guys and change the roster. They added Hayward and don’t look as good as last year but they will once the team gels more. Same story with Sixers.

Hopefully we can get an elite free agent soon and that’ll really help with everything.

Not to mention all the back to backs. The schedule will get easier moving on

Freakin DRose giving me heartattacks and teary eyes at the same time. Wouldnt even be mad one bit had that 3 at the end went in. Glad Ingram came up in the clutch, should have went to him in the final minute as well. Chandler 9 rebounds, immediate impact, very nice

@Osman

4-8... :snoop:

Dude is a beast. Can't believe he moves so well at that size.

Just in a serious funk right now and needs changes asap, cant rebound for shit this season, and 3-4 major injuries that lead to 8 different lineups in 12 games been ridicolous too. Basically losing EVERY single away game. Far cry from last season, the distractions from Butler saga making it worse too.

Only bright spots early into the season are Josh Okogie, Towns defending is way better, and DERRICK MOTHERFUCKING ROSE :tuttosport:

Career highs after another, jeez what a gunner:

Not even MVP Rose was shooting this well from 3.

the Butler trade? they were behind Toronto already, imo. Butler gonna murder Simmons :lol3:
Why would Butler have anything against Simmons?

And now the top 3 of the East is most likely Toronto, Bucks, and Sixers in that order. I wish we had gotten someone with a better shot than Butler, I’m actually not sure if he’s the right fit but he’s still a legit player who’s gonna help the team.

What we really need is Klay Thompson.

So now it’s gonna be Embiid-Simmons-Butler-Redick-Shamet?

You basically have a Big 4 with Redick as a starter, the guy is one of the best shooters in the league.

And @zizinho , that is not BARELY a Big 3. Are you joking? That is a Big 3, in every sense of the description
