Unless you really hate where you are, and there isn't enough money to make you happy
that is also true. however, i find it hard to believe i would have rejected 200M, to get 100M elsewhere, if i was in his place. no matter how much you hate certain place. i could probably buy my entire country with that much money

I get the sense they might go for Butler or Love next. They are signing a lot of point guards right now and it's curious for us Raptors fans because we have 3 good ones already. So it's possible Lowry is next to go.

As far as Ibaka and JV. I will bet my life Ibaka is moved to 2nd string centre and Anunoby plays PF beside JV in the startling lineup. Raptors new coach prefers small ball and we don't have a backup C right now.
i find it hard to believe that someone would take 33M a year Lowry however. id be surprised if you get anything good for him

for Ibaka i could see some suitors. hes supposed to give you rim protection and some shooting (although all ive seen is bricking), but wherever he goes, he should be a center now. pair him with another center and you are officially the slowest team in the NBA

OKC trades Melo and a 2022 protected 1st rounder to Atlanta for Dennis Schroder
-Mike Muscala will go from Atlanta to the 76ers
-Luwawu-Cabarrot from Philadelphia to OKC
-Justin Anderson from Philadelphia to Atlanta

Anthony will get his entire 28M in a buyout and will be waived.

What are the chances of Lonzo starting in that? He can’t score.
He can do everything else though. You don't need to have 5 scorers all the time on the floor. If he can score just enough to keep them honest, they'll be fine.

It works for Draymond Green, right?

Draymond used to be a legit threat from 3, I think now he doesn’t get as many looks because Durant, Curry, and Klay are rightfully more dangerous and accurate.

I think it’s a good experiment for the Lakers to try, but i don’t think they have any intentions of contending this year, not with that roster. Probably gonna just see what players are worth keeping for the free agents that will be available next year.

Contend for a title, hell no. Will they make the playoffs? Definitely. If you think about it, who in the West has improved themselves as greatly as the Lakers have? You add the best player in the world, and you are going to see a dramatic improvement. There's no way that they can't. I'm not saying it in a prideful way, but just looking at the raw numbers.

Lebron is one of those guys who is like a high tide, in that he raises all the boats. If Lonzo keeps the pace going, and puts Lebron and his teammates in easier positions to get the ball and to score, then it will fall into place for him.

The Lakers purposely want to keep Lebron off the ball as much as possible, to save his energy for the season. Which means that his assist will go down, but all of his other stats could remain the same, or maybe even be a little better.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they made the playoffs and I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t. They’re likely going to hover in that 6-10 place. Lebron has improved them significantly but there’s a lot of tough teams there.

Also, the Warriors have improved a lot as well by adding Cousins but that doesn’t really mean anything to the Lakers :p

That is what I am implying. No matter what any team in the West could have realistically done, it would have never resulted in matching up with Golden State. The only way to take down Golden State at this point is to start going for some of their players in Free Agency.

But if you look at the rest of the West, it's not hard to say that no team did more to improve than LA did. Houston got weaker, Utah didn't really do anything, neither did Portland. Houston lost key players, and Utah and Portland basically kept their same teams. New Orleans took a hit with losing Rondo. I know that I am forgetting a couple of teams, but I think you get the gist of what I am saying.

All the way to the finals? Dude I thought that 76ers were pretty shit.
You thought wrong, my friend. We have Embiid, arguably the best center in the league as well as Simmons who was rookie of the year and is pretty much a younger LeBron but doesn’t have an outside shot.

On top of that we have JJ Redick, who can be best described as the most accurate gun in the Wild West. Dude is automatic from anywhere on the field. Then there’s Super Dario Saric, great all around player and last but not least, Markelle Fultz. Rumors have it he’s going to be back this season in terrific shape after having completely reworked his shot.

Then there’s plenty of other younger and role players who have potential to contribute a lot.

Okay, just started to sound interesting since I like to support Philly's teams. Maybe I'll just check the scores on SofaScore or something though. :D And basketball is way more interesting than baseball, that shit I just hate.
