might be wrong but I am pretty sure he was one of several people who said something along those lines.
What Sergio said. You just remember being butthurt because back then I was talking shit on IT and since he played for Boston you had a crush on him. Just like you do on Kyrie now.

That makes no sense whatsoever - a second try is in order.

If you are so bent on trusting Sergio's memory, ask him how big of crush I had on IT, considering I said Boston had to trade him if they wanted to become a contender.

Lonzo played well last night.

Was aggressive with the ball, and had a fantastic 5:1 Assist to Turnover ratio.

If this kid was averaging say 12 pts per game instead of 9, would people really be taking every opportunity to shoot this kid down?

is there a worse team at throwing lobs than the Lakers out there? i remember maybe 1-2 successful ones this season while most were either intercepted, too far or too high...

btw, ive seen all 1st halfs this season and a couple of full games (mostly on the road), and i really like this group. i wouldnt like us to trade away half of them for capspace, which will be necessary to chase those 2 max players in the summer. from what i understand, even if Deng is shipped out, it wont be possible to add 2 max guys AND keep Randle and Clarkson, maybe one of them but even then im not sure. so id rather we add one of James, George, Cousins, keep this group of Ball, Clarkson, Hart, Ingram, Kuzma, Nance, Randle, one of Zubac/Bryant, and then fill the rest of the roster spots with veterans that would fit into Lukes offense. would love to have Ariza back for example, or Avery Bradley. @King of Kings, your thoughts?

1 Max signing.

Trade Randle and Nance. Chances are that if they get one of either George or Lebron, they will be playing as a 4, and you don't need that many PF's on the team, considering that Kuzma is a stretch 4, and can play the 3.

Re-sign KCP to a team friendly deal.

Keep Clarkson, unless the return is too good to refuse.

The young core of this team is Ingram, Ball, and Kuzma.

why a 20 yo rookie would struggle with his shot when 1st coming to the league (there are countless of similar examples out there, its just that all the spotlight is on Lonzo so people focus on him too much), i can understand. but whats the deal with his FTs? he shot close to 70% in college, now hes under 50% (hes not taking his time with bouncing the ball few times, he throws the ball too quickly, hes not bending his knees on his shot etc - small irrelevant things seemingly, but very important for a good FT). but its not just him, the whole team is struggling shooting, so whats the deal here? too many young guys? pressure of LA? bad shooting coaches? good thing is, it cant get worse (i hope lol), so it will only improve from here on.

everything else in his game is at a very good level, defense, passing, rebounding, controlling and reading the game, he only needs to get his shot fixed. definitely not a bust from what ive seen so far

sounds good except that i like Randle as a smallball C and he could be kept in such role, not so keen on him as a PF actually. if there are cheap alternatives in free agency then im OK with trading him. Nance is very much replaceable (love his defense and effort though).
