Yeah next season doesn't look to good. I can't think of many players worth picking up in free agency either, some role players is all really.

Well Dwight proved once and for all that he is a bitch.
Why? He saw a better opportunity in Houston, and went for it. Moreoever, with Mchale and Olajuwon being there, they can help him develop his low post game; that was never going to happen with Kobe being the go to guy in LA and D'Antoni's coaching style and the way he plays offense

50 million in cap space after next season with Lebron and Carmelo as potential free agents? I can take a year of being awful if it means that they can rebuild quickly.

I'm not going to say anything bad about Dwight as he was doing what he thought was best. The only thing that I am going to say is that almost a month ago I had said that I was very hesitant in giving that type of money to someone who would have to be the man in Los Angeles, that has shown that he has an issue handling criticism and being overly sensitive.

Let's be real, Kobe forced Howard outta LA.
How did he force him out of LA? You really think that Kobe wouldn't wnat to play with a quality big man?

If he can't take criticism and tough love, then he is not someone that I would want to pay 120 million dollars to.

These are the Lakers, not the New Orleans Pelicans. If you can't handle that type of pressure, then that's fine.

Exactly. Howard couldnt deal with the pressure, enough said. The man will never be a true champion of the game.

Let's not jump down the guy's throat here, either.

He has always been this way. He's been overly sensitive to criticism, and that is just his personality.

From a basketball standpoint, it makes perfect sense for him to go to Houston. They are a lot closer to a championship than the Lakers are right now.

From the Lakers point of view, they potentially have an insane amount of cap space after next season, and they can get right back into it after next year if they spend their money wisely. I really want them to tank it badly next season to get a top 5 pick in the draft.

Im not, I just dont think he had the mental strength to deal with a big team like us. Its crazy that the Lakers have to rebuild completely, I am really curious as to where we go next season. I would love to tank but it wont happen. In this free agency pool I wanted Millsap but I think he is already gone.
