No, I blame the Sixers for putting all their eggs in the Bynum basket and having the basket end up empty. Will always dislike him from now on. Gives off a "couldn't care less" vibe.

Not the Lakers :seven:

Don't have a favourite team, i hope the clippers do well because of CP3 and i have a soft spot for the Rockets since T-mac days.
How Cute :D

If you think a franchise like the Lakers will stay down for long, then you haven't been following basketball :D

It's all in cycles my friend you know that, but 2 things remain certain in the NBA.

The Celtics and the Lakers always find a way to get back to the top again.

Speaking about Celtics, how do you think they will do it now? Or what is the best thing they can do now? All they have is Rondo, they lost the coach too right?

I know, the lakers always find some team willing to bend over in some kind of trade, but i think best scencarion is to thank, trade Gasol for some expiring contracts and go after some big name free agent next year.

PS: The celtics sucked for decades after the Larry bird era until they got KG and Ray Allen in 2009.

Where the fuck have you been, we missed you Sergio

They are going to rebuild with youth, and get themselves under the salary cap. They are one step ahead of the Lakers in regards to the youth portion of it, but well behind the Lakers in potential salary cap space, with the Lakers (if they don't re-sign Bryant, which I'm hoping the don't), being over 50 million under the cap next year.

As far as their new coach is concerned, he knows basketball. He took a small school like Butler to the NCAA Championship game 2 years in a row. He's young, he's smart, but he will need some time to grow into his job. I wish the Lakers had him. Put it that way. I was so pissed when the Cletics hired Brad Stevens

In defense of the Celtics, some of that stuff was out of their control. Len Bias was going to be the bridge between the Bird era and the next generation. His death the day after he was drafted ruined the future of that franchise. Then, just as they were getting themselves ready to make the climb again, Reggie Lewis dies of a heart attack. You can't control stuff like that

And as far as where I've been? This forum sucks lately unless you are talking about anything except for Juventus, so I've stayed away from the main boards.

I just noticed something when you said to trade Gasol for expiring contracts. Wouldn't do them any good. Gasol is a free agent after next year.
