Fair enough. I just thought the Lakers would go for a bigger name or stick with Lue .
I don't think they need a big name, they need good, smart people that can connect with the players and with other GM's around the league.

I would love to see Monty Williams as head coach, and David Griffin as president of basketball operations.

With the common denominator being that they are cutting the Laker's family tree off at the trunk. It's time for some non-Lakers to run the Lakers.

One positive about this @ALC, is that Magic can finally do what he wanted to do, and that is to mentor Ben Simmons.

Wait a second. Why are the Lakers looking to hire a head coach BEFORE hiring a president of basketball operations?

What is going on over there ?!?!?! :cry:

I just need to realize that I'm not going to see a championship again in my lifetime :sigh:
