We used to have a christmass tree in brussels square. everyone loved it because its kinda nice to watch.
This year, they put a ugly ass piece of art that nobody really likes, "because a minority complained that it was a religious symbol"

a massive petition to reverse the decision did nothing.


in brussels, stuff like this happens more and more. currently there is this case, in wich a police officer wanted a headcovered women to identity herself, she refused and heatbutted him.some guy from a radical party, known as "sharia4belgium" then later provoked quite big fights in the outskirts of brussels.


And that just happens, mostly to the incompetent politicians we have in brussels, who famously noted that a policeofficer who got hit by an AK47 was "a fait divers"

That sort of stuff is creeping in here too, in the politically correct UK. I reckon it would be quite funny if they tried to stop town centres having a Christmas tree, though

It really wouldn't be worth the trouble it would cause them, they might as well pack up and let the opposition move in.
