That's exactly what happened in my case, believe it or not I became a mod 3-4 months after I joined the forum.

But generally the other mods decide together if there's any need for new mods and who could fit the bill for the job.

Furthermore, I wasn't derailing the topic since I used the picture to prove my point. You wrote that Benitez probably wouldn't be in Chelsea after the summer. I then responded with the funny picture and added that it was pretty obvious since his contract is for this season only. I used the funny pic originally made by @Nedved03 to make this point.

More importantly, pics like these are getting posted all the time, and they are never getting edited or deleted. In fact, much more cruel posts aren't getting deleted. When Alen wrote this to Janna nothing happened:

Which brings me back to this topic. Why did you edit and later delete my post? My post was funny and had a point. Furthermore, you would never ever have deleted my post if my post hadn't been a response to your own post. More offensive stuff don't ever get deleted from this forum. I don't like being censored, and for that reason I'm writing this post now. This obviously isn't a big deal, but I don't like getting my posts deleted, so here we are.

So you're blaming the size of the picture? Not the excuse I had expected from the fancy mod, but here you go! So if I had downscaled the picture, everything would have been fine? I'm not sure I'm buying that, but there's no way I would have thought about downscaling that picture. It is pure art, and you don't edit an artist's work. You just don't tell Picasso to make his painting smaller. I know it isn't fair to compare Picasso and Nedved03, 'cause face it, Picasso got nothing on Nedved03, but the argument is still valid.
