you have no proof they're not.
I have. I was a moderator.

I didn't warn Seven, I didn't warn those who insulted him. But in the end, Seven was getting warnings and bans and the others weren't.

Only once, when there was one insult I couldn't leave unpunished, when I banned Fred (1 week ban IIRC) for wishing Besmir's and Seven's parents died, all the forum jumped on me begging me to unban Fred, which I did.

Yes, I supported the suggestion Seven to be banned (actually, he was banned without my knowledge) and I meant it. He went out of control.
He was unbearably provoked by Byron, Tahir and Fred, and I understand why he lost it, I'd have lost it too, but he did lose it and he did deserve to be banned. It was more than a week until I realized that his ban is a never ending one. I thought it was a 2 week ban or smthg and I supported him.
Also, if it was up to me three other members should have been banned back then, but they weren't.

And it's always been the same. I don't mean the forums, I mean it generally. This attitude is in the nature of the ones who have been abused whether because of their race or nationality, their religion or their sex.

The blacks: You call a black guy "monkey", you're racist then. You call a white guy "monkey", nothing happens. If you say that you hope Balotelli dies you're a racist but if you say the same about Beckham, it's okay.

The Muslims: If someone draws a caricature of Mohammad, Muslims run riot everywhere. If you claim that Mohammad was a liar, if you say that there isn't such a thing like God's messenger, if you disrespect Mohammad (Salman Rushdie), they call for your head. Why? Because Mohammad is highly esteemed among Muslims, because he is a holy feature for them.
I say I'm alright with all this: Don't make fun of something/someone that you know it means a lot for some other people.

But you know what's funny here? Exactly the same Muslims of all people make fun of "Holocaust". I'm not going into whether Holocaust had really happened to the large extent the Jews believe or not but thing is that "Holocaust" means a lot to them, the Jews. It's part of their beliefs even though you might believe that it had never happened. It's all alright for Muslims to claim that Holocaust never happened. It's alright to make fun of it because they believe that it's a lie. But no one in the world could dare to believe that Mohammad was a liar and no one could make fun of him by drawing his caricatures. Hell no one even allows to post those caricatures in a football forum.

So why is Seven getting punished and (check the Palestine thread) those who insult the Jews in general by denying the holocaust, those who insult the Israelis (if I was an Israeli, what JBF and Fred said today about Amr Zaki's action would have been a huge insult) etc are never ever punished?

Double standards.

Not just on the forums. These sort of actions spill out into the real world. In fairness what was said about Dule in this thread was disgusting and deserved a ban. Dule again does nothing to insult anybody yet is on the receiving end of a comment like he was. Disgusting.

except Tahir didnt meant what he said
How do you know that? Tahir did not say "for instance", or "what if". He said it flat out. Anybody can say that they didn't mean it, but it was offensive regardless, especially to someone like Dusan who is a very classy member.

I agree.

What was said about Dusan was out of order, regardless of Tahir saying he didn't mean it after the fact. Tahir is a mod and should stay out of anything like that. And Dusan of all people? I've never seen him have a bad word for anybody.

That's all he does, seriously, and NEVER gets punished, and I mean never. That guy is nothing but poison.

You are really smart with this kind of stuff matey, take it down to a human level though and I find that pretty insulting, it's what matters, and Dusan felt insulted by it.

Well buddy, the majority of folks here found it offensive, and they have nothing against Tahir or troll against religion. Majority rules, and I have no idea why you wouldn't find it offensive, but it's your opinion.

First off, if you actually read through that stupid caster semenya thread carefully, you'll actually see that i was having a constructive debate with seven. When he got tired of going on he instigated the argument & insults.

The beef was between him & myself,NOT with Fred or Tahir. He resorted to condescending remarks & i worked on his history. It started off about blacks & he asked me if i was black. He then made his wonderful "you ppl are victims" comment & moved onto islam.I asked him why he thought he was better than muslims because he has posed as his "half brother" on this forum & made up rather ridiculous stories.

Basically he knew he was in a tight spot with me & didn't want to be labelled as a racist in the forum. So his next best option was to cop out & go the easy/safe route by insulting islam.

I'll openly admit i went overboard & it might have been petty but at the end of the day that's what he does.I wanted him to get a taste of his own medicine, simply put.

As for the warnings & so on,if you felt i should have received them, why didn't you issue them?Mikhail gave me a warning for fighting in the Trez thread,im not complaining. When i was mocking JBF,Jack gave me a stern heads up to calm down & i did.Yet again,i didn't complain.

It's kinda funny how some are taking seven's absence so seriously but then you'll see another post that says they don't take the forum or internet seriously.None of us make a financial contribution here & the mods get a lot of stick.I don't think some members around here realize how much time & effort the mods put into keeping this forum in line.
