Let me tell you something.

You have the whole right to hate those militants who fight the Lebanese army right now, but I think generalizing the fight to palestinian civilians in Lebanon is just a very illogical thing.

This so called Fatah-Al-Islam has Lebanese members as well the Palestinian members, so they don't represent the palestinian people at all.

Take this as an example:

Why would there be Lebanese Fatah al-Islam members? Or are Palestinians who have been living in Lebanese camps for years now considered Lebanese over Palestinian?

According to what I remember from yesterday's news on TV (can't find a written source...) the arrested suspects were of Lebanese, Syrian, Tunisian, Saudi, and Algerian nationalities! (four of them were Saudi's)

The houses that were raided by the army contained cash, check books, and of course lot's of guns and ammo.

Look at this:
Lebanese security officials said Fatah Islam has up to 100 members who come from Arab countries including Saudi Arabia and Syria as well as local sympathizers who belong to the conservative Salafi branch of Islam. Its base is a northern Lebanon Palestinian refugee camp but it has quietly expanded to Tripoli, a predominantly Sunni city known to have Islamic fundamentalists.

Those Fatah & Hamas idiots don't represent the majority of the Palestinians just like Fatah Al-Islam doesn't. They just want to look the good guys in front of the Arab leaders to get more money. They're ready to destroy the whole camp to stay in their positions and get more money out of the aids to the refugees.

The best thing that Fatah & Hamas can do now is to SHUT UP...

Andy, Rab...check out what the Leb gov't thinks what is the best solution. A truce. lol...seriously this is one big joke....:disagree:

NAHR AL-BARED, Lebanon (AFP) - The Lebanese government offered late Monday a truce in its confrontation with Islamists in north Lebanon that cost 58 lives, as a bomb exploded in Beirut for the second straight night.

"The Lebanese army is ready to stop firing if the other side does the same. It will not open fire if it is not attacked," a government source in Beirut said, on condition of anonymity.

The offer followed indirect negotiations between the army and the splinter group Fatah al-Islam through the mediation of Jamaa Islamiya, a Sunni organisation, participants in the contacts told AFP.
Where did you bring that from...Manar? or NBN?

Please man, don't really change what was said on behalf of Sanyoura or the gov If you haven't really listened to what he said.

Palestinian leaders, Khaled Meshaal and his CO, asked from President Sanyoura for a truce just in order to take the Palestinian civilians that are wounded and in-need of a hospital, from women, children to old men.

and If you're following the news closely, Sanyoura is still giving the Lebanese Army green light to continue their attack. Even New tv said that.

Either state facts bro or dont...really.

I the name of whom this Khaled Mashaal is talking? He has nothing to do with the whole thing in Lebanon. If he's good enough, he should stop his gang's childish acts in Gaza.

First of all, don't insult our people/army. wouldn't be nice of me insulting bosnians, though i'd never do it.

Second of all, what do you even know about the situation ffs??? what do you know?

Third of all, If soo much you hate the Israeli's and care about the Palestinians why don't you go there to help them? maybe you can buy some freedom, try serving them tnt and bombs...tea wouldnt be good.

They found a wired car in Monte Verde today but they disposed the bomb. They also caught a Syrian and an Egyptian as suspects.

But also the major Palestinian faction leaders in Lebanon asked Sanyoura call back the army to take the wounded people to hospital. Not only Khaled or Abbas, but each Palestinian.

It's pretty obvious some Palestinians inside the camps are helping these people from Fatah Islam.

According to what I remember from yesterday's news on TV (can't find a written source...) the arrested suspects were of Lebanese, Syrian, Tunisian, Saudi, and Algerian nationalities! (four of them were Saudi's)

So far 21 have been brought to police station. All connected to Fatah Islam.

2 Algerians, 6 Palestinians, 1 Morroco, 2Tunisian , 3 or 4 Saudis, the rest Syrians.... and one Lebanese who was living in the gulf.
