Even if Christianity doesnt require the women to cover their body nor forbid alcohol, wont you feel ashame when you go to the beach with your sister or mother while she is wearing a G-string and lets say she is drunk while all the men are staring at her ass.
I am sure you wont like that. It has nothing to do with Christianity or Islam.
But a muslim women who covers her body does it because of her self belief that it is not ethical to show her body and having people look at her for the wrong reason. I am sure a lot of women, no matter christians or muslims or any other religions dont like showing their body to others.

If she is happy to do what she is doing then why would someone feel ashamed?

And what about those who go to women only beaches? Why do these beaches exist in the first place?

Very good question. (I don't think he'll answer it though)

However, I feel sorry for these brain-washed people who think this way. In every community, yes, in every community there are respected people and there are open minded people and there are bitches. Thats a fact. Maybe It's not good to say that but I've met 10's of women wearing Hijab were doing things not even a prostitute would think of doing that.

Anyway, lets not go further with this topic.

Why is bikini mentioned in CHRISTIAN rights??

What's the relationship between christianity & being nude on the beach??

    Nothing...

You have to differentiate between Christians rights of practicing their religion & the desire of SOME christians to become a western community (And all of us know that this has nothing to do with christianity itself)...
    same thought here

If she's so happy with her body, she can buy a ticket and go somewhere else where no traditions at all...

You can't expect from ordinary Arab people to agree living in the same neighbourhood with such a shameless lady...

If she wants everybody to respect her freedom, she has to respect everybody's norms & traditions...

    Elaborate...

So is this why the Arabs rush to spend their summers in Lebanon, their days on the beaches in Jounie and Jbeil or the new resorts on Jiyye, Rmeile etc. and spend their evenings drinking in Achrafie's clubs?

It was Hezballa that forbid them from doing that this year. And it is the same Hezballa that forbid all ski lovers to come to Lebanon's mountains and enjoy the snow experience.

But all what Hezballa is doing goes to your (Palestinians) benefit but with no benefit at all to Lebanon.

The funny thing is that he's talking about self-respect when Arabs men/women come to Lebanon in summer just because they have freedom of not wearing Hijab and for the men they have freedom drinking alcohol and enjoying their time.

Well that's the problem if you don't separate church (or mosque, whatever) from state.

Does Lebanon have a such a divide? Either in theory or practise?

It makes me happy to see them come and enjoy their time. I feel proud that we are different than them and that we are a place they love to visit. Hezballa on the other hand are trying to change that.

Not at all, religion is everywhere, literally. The worst thing is the government positions, each position has to be of a certain sect. When certain politicians are trying to get rid of that, other groups are trying to change it but just to redistribute it.

Arabs are more than 300 million people, Jack...

How many Arab people go to Lebanon for tourism??

Do you want to generalize the bahaviour of afew hundreds to 300 million??

Sorry me, but what is the relationship between palestinians and Hezballah forbidding tourists from skiing??

300 million or more or less, Arabs come to Lebanon because of our different culture and they visit the country because they enjoy it there.

The relationship between Palestinians and Hezballa and tourism is that Palestinains say that Hezballa are doing good for the country whereas Hezballa are destroying it, their first destruction was that of tourism. The killed it in the summer and now in the winter.

Hariri rebuilt Beirut and made it a beautiful place as it was before, now Hezballa have occupied the place and spread their tents everywhere, not to mention what they did with the roads last week.

I will not mention their indirect destruction of bridges, roads and other viable places in the summer.

All in all, Palestinians try to convince me that Hezballa are doing all this for the good of the country, I fail to see that I'm afraid.

Then how come Lebanon as a society isn't as strict as most Muslim nations?

We have no place for 300million Arabs in 10452. The point is that Arabs will do everything to spend their time in Lebanon because of "Freedom".

And when you talk about self-respect and you're pointing your fingers to Christians is pretty lame. In Lebanon no one needs to act "Western" like you called It. We're a free country.
