No he will go down in history as an inspirational leader that lead his FREEDOM FIGHTERS against the foreign aggressors in our land. His humble army fought one of the most technically advanced armies in the world, and emerged victorious.

Ya 3ayb el shoum 3al Arab who cannot see this. For FIFTY years plus, going on sixty, nobody has done jack shit against the Zionist enemy, and now you're trying to undermine Hezballah's accomplishment.
Right... Israeli army entered Lebanon again, bombed it thanks to Hizballah, destroyed its infrastractures, homes, many people became fugitives, nearly conquered Beirut, many were killed (much more than on the Israel side) and now you say Hizballah was victorious? Naive...
I'm not saying IDF won the wor, it didn't. But obviously didn't lose. It just didn't accomplish all its objectives.
And what exactly were Hizballah accomplishments? Anything I just mentioned? Lebanon on the verge of a civil war? What are they?

I'll be the first to admit, Bachir's speeches are very much appealing from a Lebanese perspective. But when you see LF today, their points of view are very much different than his "discourse". Even subtle anti-Muslim propaganda could be seen on their website, not sure if they edited that out now since it's in "fashion" to be anti-sectarian. How can I know what was Bachir's main goal? Allying with Israel, and then committing Sabra & Chatila...seems to be quite dodgy for a man proclaiming to be someone who wants to unite Lebanon.
You still didn't answer my questions.....

Why wouldn't they Ally with Israel when others were recieving arms from syria/palestine and were financed also by syria/palestine.

Oh I forgot, Hafez and Yasser are arabs, they're more than welcome to destory us. We should thank Syria for occupying our country for 30years.... We should also thank Mr. Arafat for doing the unbelievable things, yes, we should also invite them from their casket and put them back in Lebanon because they're muslim arabs.....While It's a crime and you'd be betraying your country to ally with Israel:rolleyes:

I like the way people make their math.

It's funny Hezbollah supporters still call the "July war" victorious, god's victorious.

If we compare what happened to the two countries during the war, we'd be wondering what victory are they talking about.

    Lets take a look:

    Hezbollah Impact on Israel

    -52 Israeli civilians got killed

    -117 IDF soldiers got killed

-Israel overall expenses: 1.4 Billion US dollars

    -30,000 Israelis left their homes

-3970 Missile dropped on Israel (outdated compared to their US weaponry)

-6000 Houses were hit (which is illogical compared to the number of Missiles launched)

    -3570 civilians were wounded

    Israel Impact on Lebanon

    IAF operations: 15,000
    10,000 war missions
    1000 combat mission for helicopters
    1000 search missions
    1300 surveillance missions

    -95,000 Foreigner evacuated Lebanon

-Lebanese Killed 1083>>>30% Children under 12years old.

    -Wounded: 4359

-This war costed Lebanon over 5.2 billion dollors

    -Over 78 bridges were destroyed

    -1million Lebanese left the country

    -Hundreds of houses collapsed

-Thousands of civilianz without a home until now.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, what a victory. Next summer we better approach one of France or Italy and maybe after two years we'll be able to compete with the States:rolleyes:.

hizballah's accomplishments were that they showed that israel isn't as strong as they should be. it's sad how a puny little army were screwing around with israel(even with the help of almighty america, israel couldn't complete their objectives:disagree: )

Plus the touristic season the whole summer got fucked up. Nasralla did not get satisfied with that, he kept his poking and rambling and turned down town to a resident camping place for his men. He comes up with speeches that scare the shit out of everyone and no he is succeeding in destroying the skiing season in the country. Way to go Nasralla, the victorious man who does only the best for Lebanon.

    hehehe....

You know what's funny, after the war was over, when he showed up on tv and said that "If I knew this war was going to damage our country soo much, I wouldn't have gone for It"....

I'm afraid soon he'll show up to state "If I knew protesting for days in streets was going to damage Lebanon, I wouldn't have gone for it"

When Mantova beat Juve 1-0, would you say that Juve isn't as strong as it should be? Or is "puny little" Mantova just stronger than Juve? Altogether, Juve reached its conclusions from this game to emerge stronger and to beat their next opponent...

Anyway, I think this all discussion is going nowhere. If it wasn't Hizballah there would be no war and the numbers Azzurri7 posted would never happen. Both countries suffered during this war, but no doubt Lebanon suffered more. All thanks to Hizballah...

I don't understand this Israel ass kissing going on in here.
    Let's not forget:

    Sabra & Shatila
I believe that was aimed at me and Jack.

I don't think there's Israel ass kissing. We've proved our points, we've proved why we want a good relation with Israel, we've proved lot of things. I don't think asking for a peace with Israel would be ass kissing.

What do you mean lets not forget Sabra & Shatila?

Why should It be close? True each one has his own way of thinking but that doesn't mean we can't share our points.

And It's not about bashing Hezbollah as much as It's about giving facts about Hezbollah to lot of people who don't really have an Idea about this party.
